MAC Early Buzz - news on products for 2012

But thank you for the info. Since I have no idea who that is I don't know if I should be excited about this or not.

Ahh! I'm not sure if this has been mentioned already, but MAC is releasing an Archie's Girls collection next year?!?! I am nerding out right now, I used to love Archie's comics. I'm really excited to see what they do for Betty and Veronica!

I'm assuming this will have special packaging. Wouldn't make much sense collaborating with a popular cartoon (?) and then have regular packaging.

This new collection is based on comic book series. Archie was created to be ""America's newest boy friend" (haha, that's from wiki, can't make this stuff up!) and Betty/Veronica are/were his girlfriends. Basically a comic about "typical" high school kids and all the trouble they get into.

I've never heard of Archie comics, and after seeing that 'logo' I'm still none the wiser. Even if it comes to the UK, I won't be buying for the packaging - I'll only buy if the products are something I want

Why call the collection "Archie's Girls"? If you are familiar with the Archie comics, Betty and Veronica are famous enough on their own right. to leave Archie out of this. Correct me if I'm wrong, didn't Betty and Veronica have their own comic at one point?

Their original comic series was called Archie's Girls Betty and Veronica. They dropped the "Archie's Girls" in the late 80s/early 90s I believe.

I like the name "Archie's Girls". I hope MAC will have some amazing products/colors for both Betty & Veronica. Good grief. I really need to start saving. Marilyn, Holiday collection and now Archie's Girls??? I am going to have to be very selective with what collections I buy from. I've been pretty good not buying from the summer collections except for Ruffian Red lipstick which I love. I hope I can resist.

ZZZZOMG!!!!!!! I lived for Archie Comics in the 80's and early 90's. This is going to be the greatest ever for me and is reallly REALLLY a dream come true.
