I think i was least impressed by Dynamo...it is really flat compared to the others....it doesnt sparkle the same way.

So, I have totally mixed feelings about this. I LOVE MAC and often buy something from every collection. I am quite excited for the formulation on these, but the colors just don't, move me. I mean, some of them do. I REALLY love the teal one, but I feel like we've seen this color so many times, and do I really wanna fork out the money for this, just because it's a different texture? I am a HUGE color fan but like, the ones that stand out the most to me are the neutral ones. I LOVE glitter and shimmer, and so I wanted to love Back Lit but it seems like NARS night breed would just be better.
So here I am staring at my cart, and I have no idea what to do. (just a note, I don't have a MAC counter near me).
I very much appreciate any help from others who have gotten to see these in person. I don't ever really go by what T says just because she is one person.

I think I am skipping...only one is standing out for me now, and that is coil. When they hit the MAC counter, I might check that one out. At this point, I think I would rather spend my money on the Chanel Illussion d'ombres. I have one (the whitish color), but have my eye on more because the colors are just so much richer than these. I want that reddened brown one and the pinky/peach. The Chanel ones just have an unexplainable depth and finish in my opinion.

I swatched them over the weekend. Fashion Circuit, Highly Charged, Infra-Violet, and Love Power are my favorites. I was disappointed with Dynamo. The color is more muted compared to the others. I also like a neutral. Can't remember if it was Coil or Superwatt, but I think it may have been Coil. I also like the smooth, spongy texture. I took pics, but they're not the best. I didn't buy any and I'm still undecided if I will.

Man, for some reason I'm even more confused about which ones of these I want if any. I'm trying to limit my spending and plan on getting a few things from EL. So I think I'll be good and just get one bright and one neutral. The amount of product just gets to me. But I want to at least try them out. Leaning at Fashion Circuit or Infra-Violet for the bright.And Love Power or Superwatt for the neutral. Any suggestions? Since they are 50% water I wonder what these would do in the fridge. Maybe it would help them stay in place in the pan?

I've played with Infra-Violet and Fashion Circuit so far and really like them. It's been really hot and they've held up well. I have yet to try Highly Charged and will be soon. I am thinking of getting a couple more on friday. I am new to fun colored eyeshadows tho so the colors aren't dupes in my collection. I am sad that people haven't been too enthused with Dynamo. That's the other bright that I wanted.

I wanted to skip these until I saw them in person...so if u really want to skip this collection, stay FAR away from a counter or store

I played with some today...
I like Love Power much more than Young Venus... it just has the sparkle that didnt come across with YV
Pure Flash is a good inner corner kind of color... its sorta like Nylon...very bright and shiny...
I found the texture of these much easier to work with than a paint pot, personally. paint pots always come out kinda patchy for me.
i'll have to play with the other colors this week...

I've decided to post the pics anyway because they may be helpful. It would've been better to have taken the photos while I was at Nordstrom, but it was too crowded with the anniversary sale going on. Lol, I also had a bunch of lipstick swatches on my arm and my hand too, and I walked around the rest of the mall like that. I was hoping to take good pictures later, but the lighting was too bad and I couldn't get proper focus with my camera phone.

I's go with Superwatt and InfraViolet. They seem the most unique of the 4 you mentioned.
I'm getting Coil, Superwatt, InfraViolet and MAYBE Electroplate (but I think that one fell off my list)
T says LP is nice swatched but doesn't perform well. And FC is a lot more dupable I think than IV. Just my opinion..

purplerinne has me VERY close to wanting PF because of its likeness to Vintage Selection. But I'm going to start w my original list of 3 and see if I like the formula first!
