On another note:
That app sorty thingy on FB, after i entered my astrological sun sign (Leo), told me i should get Fire Sign and Venus lipsticks and Supernova blush - and those were three things i knew i did NOT want.
But i'm still debating whether i should get Pleasureseeker or Cut a Caper lipstick - i tested them and, while i wasn't doing somersaults and handsprings over them, they did look nice and i keep thinking i should get some
nice sensible lipsticks...
...because i usually wear violet or purple lipsticks: Go For It, Flaunting It, Fresh Amour, Kat Von D. Oh My Goth, even Maybelline COLORsensational lipstick Elegant Lilac (a light cool grey-violet mauve - almost MLBB). And my box of Violet, Purple, and Plum lip products is full to almost bursting. My box of basic colors (Red, Pink, Cool Nude, Gold, Silver, Pearl, and lip primers & treatments) is about 3/4 full. Meanwhile my box of Peach, Coral, Warm Nude, Brown, Green, and Blue lip products is only 1/2 full - it seems a bit lonely and forlorn.
Hey, Team Red, i actually wore RED lipstick on Saturday. I don't have many reds: MAC New York Apple, Kat von D. Adora, MUFE Lab Shine Chrome Lip gloss in M10 (metallic morello cherry), and my favorite red ever, the long out of production Revlon Velvet Touch Lipstick in Moonlit Wine (a semi-matte plum red w/gold shimmer from the late 1990s).
We (Balinese gamelan gong kebyar) were performing the music for an aerial dancer, a Balinese masked dancer, a musical Tesla coil (a Zeus-a-phone), a line of giant glass tubes sending up balls of fire, and finally a BIG LOUD (and dangerous) Tesla coil and a guy in a Faraday suit wearing mini-flame throwers on each arm and playing with the lightning bolts it shot out- we were behind a sort of Faraday cage so we wouldn't get killed... So i figured i would wear RED lips. I think red makes me look terrible, but, hey, it was a bright and intense occasion and the audience's eyes would not be on me.
