I keep dreaming the BP is as nice as Elude and that it can be used all over. I hope it is something like that.
This is the same thing with my store. My Pro store's not having an official event like Shop/Cook or Style Seeker - just a general appointments-type situation. I'm kind of disappointed as I wanted an official invitation. Oh well...
After seeing the colour story for Glamour Daze, I am only getting the bp and LG!
I'm glad we got the colour story for GD so people can make informed decisions.I am still going to get the three lippies, but that's it. I need to save for Glamour Daze. I'll be buying everything from that collection.
I'm ready to see swatches from Temptalia and the beauty bloggers already! I've been waiting to pre-order but now it seems like waste since my store's event is next Friday.I just want to see swatches of the BP and blushes please!
I want to use it as an all over too.... well, I'm probably going to use it that way since it's a sheer productI keep dreaming the BP is as nice as Elude and that it can be used all over. I hope it is something like that.
I am thinking it will be similar to HK Tahitian Sand. I think it will be mild enough to use for most pale to medium complexions. I do love the texture of the BP's so unless it is hideously orange, I will be rocking it...I keep dreaming the BP is as nice as Elude and that it can be used all over. That makes sense to me. The warm tone and lack of chalky white pigment in this MM powder (and the HK one) should keep it from looking ashy no matter the skin tone.^^I've used Tahitian Sand all over on my deep skin and it works great. Whether or not I get a BP from this collection depends on the swatch which I obviously won't get until the damn event, obviously.I really don't need another BP but we'll see.
OMG stop trying to talk me into buying one! :getyou:That makes sense to me. The warm tone and lack of chalky white pigment in this MM powder (and the HK one) should keep it from looking ashy no matter the skin tone. I figure you can never have enough BP...lurve them. I love how they just diffuse the whole look and set the face products. Not matte, but not shiney or dewy either.
Some BPs are matte others have a sheen/shimmer. The BPs with Venomous Villians for example had a natural matte finish and the G&I BPs had a sheen/shimmer. I'm not sure what finish to expect from the Forever Marilyn BP, but I love all my BPs so probably this one too.I purchased the two beauty powders from Glitter and Ice -- snowglobe and another one -- but I have never seen or touched another BP.
Can I expect the same texture? Amount of colour? What about shimmer? Does that differ between the BPs?
Thanks for your help.
Oh...shimmer. I don't know why, but I expected these to be more matte or satin. If this is shimmery, it's off my list. Some BPs are matte others have a sheen/shimmer. Glamour magazine bloggers have just confirmed: This launches on MAC on Sept 27th. I am assuming this is the online launch. The store is Oct 4th!
Do you have the first release of TS as well (Catherine Deneuve)? I adore it! The HK version was a bit more orange, but the CD TS is sheer perfection.I know, right? I like to cuddle my polish from WW and still haven't used it.
Charmed I'm sure is going to be Skipped I'm Sure for that very reason. Too similar to Fire Sign although the finish will be different. Not that different from Runaway Red to justify it, unless you just love the packaging IMHO
Big Pimpin'... I love it. I would like to try this with my Hello Kitty casing. Isn't that the powder from Style Warriors?
