It happened with Stereo Rose at two different counters near where I live - they got so few SRs that there would have been no point having testers because it would have all been sold out five minutes into the launch, and by selling the tester they could make one more buyer happy.

Off-topic question, but once the collection launches how do you find the facecharts? Are they usually on Mac's website?

Going to bed now and will get up at 3AM to see if the collection launches and will get up again at 6AM to see if the collection launches. If they don't launch in the morning, will be stalking the site when I get home from a meeting that I have to go to.

Lol, thanks for the welcome ladies. Now I dont feel so alone =) I dont want to post about it on Fb or anything cuz then everyone else will know its coming out soon...is that kinda shady of me? o well! Lol! My boyfriend was here where the by request was coming out , i woke up at like 4am and ordered all three he thought i was crazy! good thing hes not here tonight =)

The copycat effect. One person calls it "holiday collection" and all the other people just rip it off without using their brains. :)

MAN! I really hope this goes up tonight. I have to leave for a business trip tomorrow and I'm going to be traveling all day! I'm afraid it is going to go live when I don't have internet access and I'm going to miss the items I want to backup! The event I went to only let us buy one of each item! I guess if I miss it I can be satisfied I at least got one of everything I wanted...but I really REALLY want backups of Love Goddess and Forever Marilyn...

Good morning girls :D This is the first time for me to order from MAC site (I usually use Nordstrom) But this time they told me they accept international paypal with US Shipping address so I will try my luck today! It's already morning here and. Iam at work, will keep refreshing! My list is: - Forever Marilyn Beauty Powder - the perfect cheek blush - how to marry eyeshadow - preferred blonde eyeshadow - a lipstick, It is hard to choose as I never wear read lipsticks although Charmed I am sure looks gorgeous! But I think i will take love goddess as it is descripee as pink red! We usually get collections very late here! One month later or more -.- but the good thing in it is that if I miss anything online I can see swatches then check it when it launches here (but ofcourse it will be more expensive -.-)

Multiquoting completely escapes me, but thanks to you and Haven for the response. I guess that makes sense, but then again if I ended up canceling something after swatching, that could open the sale to another customer >> I'm still annoyed about the whole thing, lol

Hey anyone have any idea what post count you need to reach Senior? I just noticed I'm nearing 500. One good thing about this thread and the constant mind numbing wait is that my post count is getting higher. I wish I had more to spend after all this work.

Sorry not trying to post whore lol but wow such a difference from last night. There were so many people posting as we stalked together. I take it I'm not the only one burnt out. This could bite MAC in the ass actually as the more annoyed people get the more they might shy away or minimize their purchases. Letting people think too long can be bad for them as they then rationalize their purchase instead of basing it on impulse. Purchasing with your heart is what keeps them going as our minds are not as fun lol. I need to get to bed. My daughter was up from 1 something to like 4:25 last night and that was no bueno. Of course I stalked and nada. Boo. Ok sorry for the rambling I must be tired and this headache isn't helping. Come on MAC please.
