MAC for Marilyn

I really want Deeply Adored and I think I want Charmed, I am sure and Love Goddess too. I already have IA 's Scarlet Ibis and Lady Danger (and Sail la Vie, but that's a stretch) so no BU needed.

If time is pressure and I can spare the money I might get the BP and one or both blushes too, but I doubt I'll have that luck. By Request will probably come out around the same time and I NEED CYY. I am just in doubt whether I should get Moxie + LG and Deeply Adored + Rocker. Dunno...

I wish I was rich....

oops my bad. Dior does good polish too. YSL is on my brain cus I am debating the new touche eclat foundation vs the new Chanel foundation. I can only afford one if I want to get all the lipsticks and nail polish I crave. Plus hello stardust blush... have not reserved that one yet tho the lip and nail were reserved a month ago. I want the entire Chanel coll this holiday season. And Guerlain. Thank bejeebers glamourdaze does nothing for me. NOTHING. That Jordan Almond colored stuff is ugly and I am not sure I can see past the packaging. Which is sad. I am sure somebody will swatch and I will be all grabby hands.

If you're able to go to a counter, maybe you can get samples of both foundations to see which one you like. And I'm drooling over Chanel's holiday collection. L'Impatiente should fit in really nicely with the matte Marilyn reds.

Nordstrom Live Chat - I don't know why, but I'm still putting my money on a midnight launch going into Monday morning. Nordstrom is usually really consistent with their online releases (unlike their live chat answers)

Wow. 6:15 that's my usual alarm and I remember buying Yung Rapunxel at that time with no problems and to think I checked for them around 8:00 those lipsticks were long gone. I'm going to be pretty pissed if there's not a restock pretty soon because this is ridiculous.

I agree... MAC is going to be dealing with a lot of angry customers online now and in stores. I will call to see if I can put aside a Deeply Adored... But I have a feeling I'll get a fat NO!

I had kept my eye on the launch on the site for hours. I forgot that it is a special packaging and it would be put up under its own collection. I spent hours just looking at the regular lipstick section. Stupid me.

I'm just 600% done with the stalking as inconvenient as it is I'm just going to wait until the 4th and buy my lipsticks in store where I live they shouldn't go too fast. Last time I bought in store was for Heavenly Creature and when I got there the plastic guards hadn't even been taken off the testers, so i hope that happens again because I'm just dying for a tube of SI.

I don't do well with stampede's.. And as much as I am gutted not to get a chance to get the two lipsticks I wanted online...

I will not put myself through that, and then get in the store to find they have sold out or people bitch slapping each other with random testers ... No way.

hi. I chatted with a Nordie live chat lady yesterday and she said it would be up on their site on the 1st. After I missed my haul on MAC site today, I went back to chat with another person like an hour ago and she looked it up and said it would be up on their website some time today. So I dont know who to believe. I asked for an exact time as I could not stand by all day, and she said she can't tell exact time. So I think I'll give up. Ill go to my MAC store see if they have any lipstick left.

So my chances of getting the lipstick is pretty high. I just have to be up and ready for the mall next thursday!

I'm not sure right now if I ended up with two or three Hibiscus lipsticks ... I think maybe I got two.. Yes two ..

Anyways I remember I ordered it at Nordstroms, because I believe it sold out on MAC.

I happen to be dragged into Macy's some days after launch and they had it!!! I was so freaked I wasnt going to get it I bought one on spot.

Now that collection was nowhere near this collections hype or what is driving people to buy it aka Ms. Monroe... (Monroe fans, MAC fans, Scalpers) ... But I'd like to think MAC knew how this would come out and supply the counters properly.

I wish..my closet MAC is like 30 minutes away....I would call to ask them to hold it for me, but I think that is unlikely....I will just go without i guess.

I just grabbed a beauty powder this morning to send to my best friend who is currently deployed. She's not that into makeup but she has always loved Marilyn.

I'm putting all of my faith in my mom to grab my stuff on the morning of the launch at Nordstrom!
