That surprised me, too. What surprised me more was that I caved and purchased my first ever MAC nail polish - Rich, Rich, Rich. Temptalia's swatches looked great and she rated the MM nail polishes well, so I couldn't resist.

I like RRR than other MAC polishes. It is sheer and is textured but for a smooth nail I just added a great top coat. I like it very much so far.

On me they aren't. I wish they were because I think RR is great. DA looks terrible on my lips but I love the swatch color.

Don't feel bad, I went to the store and although I called at opening they couldn't hold anything for me with a guarantee. I know the girls so they put stuff aside for me anyway but had to sell what people asked for so one of those things was my Love Goddess. When I arrived, I swatched the LG tester next to Kate Moss for Rimmel #09 (I brought what I imagined to be similar to the Marilyn lippies from home) and it was damn near exact. The Rimmel one has a great formula and is only around $4-5. I realized I was hyped for nothing. LOL

Looks nice on you! I swatched some of the YSL mattes yesterday, too. I liked the 201 most because it is orange red. They cost 37 euros though!
Here are two pics of YSL Rose Crazy over Beet lipliner. The colour is a bit brighter in real life. It looks very similar to pixiedancers Love Goddess pics just a bit deeper and with a bit more fuchsia. These YSL lipsticks are amazing! They apply so easily to apply and are very opague. I don't think I'll need a BU of Love Goddess anymore, but I do still want one because it's marilyn and I will wear this colour a lot.

Love Goddess is such a bitch to photograph!! It was fuchsia while I wore it at work, this morning it's dark cool toned red with slight pink undertones, and yesterday night it was a red pink with warm undertones. WTF?
Anyway, here is a pic of it on my lips, natural lighting with a bit of sunshine so slightly warmer. I hate doing lip swatches when the colour change like that. And my review is on the blog, link is in my signature.
