MAC for Marilyn

this is how I feel to be honest..)) but needs must.. it's only for a few months really untill get settled, if we do actually go ahead with a deal.. gosh it's so comlicated, enough stress as it is, maybe thats why I'm actually buying all the make up

I know how you feel. I've had nothing but problems the past couple weeks at home, with my own health and my Moms health deteriorating and other issues so I just... bought the makeup. The stress just ate at me to the point where I needed something nice and positive for myself. Retail therapy is actually therapy, if only I was joking or laughing about it.

Just got back from Nordstroms...although I couldn't swatch anything the SA went upstairs to look for Japanese Maple l/s for me (they and the Mac store are out) and swatched everything for me. I love Love Goddess. After speaking to her I am really not sure I want to go to either Mac or Nordstroms on Thursday morning. I am afraid it will too crazy. She told me that Valley Fair Mac sold out of things in 15 minutes in their event. There was a lady who was first in line and bought 5 of everything. I am going to keep stalking the sites.

5 of each is just ridiculous, they should definitely limit to 2 for a collection like this.

I honestly think that it won't launch until midnight (on whatever night it launches)! To my recollection, they've NEVER EVER strayed from a midnight launch and I don't see why they would do so now. I don't plan on looking at the website until 11:30 tonight. If I miss it, fine. At this point, I've pre-ordered everything at my counter and will pick it up on Friday. I'm just checking around for additional CPs.

Me too - I don't even wear it daily. But some days, I'll sit in front of my vanity and just look at it all and admire it. It's beautiful, it's mine, it makes me happy.

Whether that's true or not, that is officially my excuse for buying MAC as my initials backwards do actually spell MAC. Haha! Win!

im still at the hospital but im getting better. i get pampered by all the nurses when im here, and then spoiled by my family when i get home. im feed up with this colitis, but im still positive. i think about my goals. i really believe i can achieve them, and thats whats keeping me in the fight.

ill be getting my marilyn items on thursday. i went a litttle crazy and ordered. 3 LG, 2 DA, 1 Legendary and 1 TPC and 1 bp. ill probably sell/swap the 2 LG aand 1 DA, once i get home. i already payed them with a gift card at my mac store. pinkdollface im truly sorry for not being able to put your palettes in the mail. sorry.

I do this too! Other people I know buy cigarettes, guitars, computer games etc. with their disposable income, so I definitely don't feel bad for my hobby being makeup
Plus, if I'd never got into MAC then I wouldn't have found this place with all you lovely people

That's funny. I have a Russian name and surname, both names are so long so I'll probably find several brands in there

Ordered Little Rock d/g off of Bloomingdales but not sure if I want to order Phiff! d/g now since I have one that I'm using plus a backup. Hmmm... maybe I should wait until it's released in store first lol. Also I cannot wait to get my Marilyn Monroe goodies tomorrow!!!
