I'm really hoping I can get my pure zen and Bp when I go to the store lol I feel like I'll cry if I don't (maybe too dramatic) but I'll be bummed if I don't

Lord have mercy. My Nordstrom order is arriving today. They told me it was coming from the warehouse (City 1) 25 minutes from my house. Get this: they routed it to a city a little over an hour from my house (City 2) and then are bring it to my town. Um, they had to drive through my city to get to city 2.
I should have asked to pick it up at the warehouse.

Mine hasn't shipped either and I placed it on the morning of the 1st. I didn't get any information until I e-mailed them.

I just got to my local counter which opens in 20 minutes and there isn't a line or anything! Granted, it's a slower location but still. I heard there was a huge crowd at the store launch last week.

Just got back. I had to drive 35 minutes but ended up being the first in line at 9:15
I was the first at the counter & got 3 of the BP & Preferred Blonde es thats it. I decided to put one of the BPs in my daughter in law's Christmas stocking.
One thing totally ticked me off. There were these 2 younger rude moms who first of all pushed their way past others that were first in line & then they parked both of the strollers smack dab in front of the MM tester/display! What the heck, no one else could even get close enough to look at anything.
Man, I haven't stalked a store like this since I had to buy the newest Star Wars figure for our son

I've been looking for a good, deep, blood red l/s for years myself, and Deeply Adored is unquestionably the closest I've found. It's sooo beautiful. If it was a little bit deeper, it would be exactly what I've been searching for. As it is, it's the best deep red lip I've ever found and I'm really happy I got a BU!
Still, I think I need to check out the lippies you've listed here. The only one I've tried/owned is Dark Side. It's a really great color, but it definitely looks more like a berry/wine shade on me than a red. Luckily, you have five other colors there for me to try! Were Charred Red, Sin, and Mystic LE? They don't sound familiar.

I'm waiting (some nail biting going on here) for a MUA from Nordstrom to call me. She pulled the additional items that I want (NEED BIG TIME) earlier this week and is supposed to call today to process the order. I would have driven to the store today but she offered to ship them. By the time she calls I'll have no nails and no hair!

I walked into Saks as soon as they opened the doors at about 9:55 and they had already been taking phone orders. All of the lipsticks were sold out except CIS, so I didn't get Pure Zen (I could have settled for regular packaging so I'm not bummed). I got the last BP and told her I wanted that when I walked in, then got Showgirl and Phiff.
My lovely mom pre-sold CIS, DA, and LG for me so I'll get those later. Can't wait.

You know when Nordstrom put MM online they didn't appear to have the entire collection. Is it possible that MAC limits/restricts what they give to other MAC distributors?

Hope you mom is doing well today. My mil broke her hip a few years ago but now she is fine but it took a long time to get there.

Up bright an early to go to the Mac store, hopefully I don't look crazy coming right when the store open but better late then sorry! It takes me an hour to get there so imma leave in 5 mins 8:35am I must be there at 9:40 am the latest to insure I'm on of the first

I felt sorry for mean girl today. I got there and trucked over to counter as soon as doors opened. There was only one person there swatching lipsticks. So then a 3rd gal comes up and mean SA says we can look over together and I say I know what i want the BP and some other stuff but the BP. Then she gets a phone call~ it is the other SA that works counter at MAC store {they have to get their stuff from MAC store not Macy's!!!} and she didn't get any of her stuff. She reaches into drawer and starts blinking back tears {for realz} apparently she really wanted the BP and I got the only one they had. The last CIS, the only BP, and the last rose np {yeah I caved when I saw them. LG was on display but she didn't have any so figure the gal before me bought it. SI wasn't on display at all
Anyway no line either before or after me.

It isn't like anybody tested it since the girl before me was very dark and didn't even look at it and I didn't bother testing it either. I do know she took the display one off and they usually don't do that. Usually, at this store, they put little sold out stickers on stuff

That's a really sad story! They must have received next to nothing in stock.
My sister and I tracked down several items for our Mom this morning via our local Macy's (over the phone).
Needless to say, it was a madhouse! I swear I've never seen a collection like this.
I hope MAC doesn't pull this stunt again with the next big LE collection.
I'm sure their CS folks are getting an ear full!

Since I couldn't make it to the store myself this morning, I asked my daughter to go for me. She went to a Macy's near her. The store opens at 10am and she got there at 9:58am. I was on the phone with her the whole time. The first doors she tried were locked, so she walked around to another set. She went inside and the lights were just turning on. Then the phone signal went out! I was freaking out! I didn't even tell her what to get yet. I kept calling her and it would go to voicemail. I sent her a text message of what to get, but no response. That was the most excruciating 15 minutes. She then called me back to let me know she got the items. I got a Beauty Powder and another Love Goddess, and of course a Love Goddess for my baby girl. My original plan was to swatch the Beauty Powder for myself before buying, but I took the plunge and got it since it's so difficult to get. I'll swatch it later this evening when I go to pick up my Pure Zen preorder from Nordstrom. I'm pretty sure the Beauty Powder will be gone by the time I get there.
My daughter is NOT a makeup addict. She said there were two people in front of her in line and a couple of other ladies swatching things. Novices. I was able to tell her to go straight in line and not to look at anything before the phone signal was lost. She said there was a really long line behind her. She's never seen anything like it. She started to imitate a really rude woman who was saying "I want aaallll the lipsticks." She cracks me up non-stop! She was happy with Love Goddess, but I don't think she gets the magnitude of it. I told her that if she wanted anything else, that she should go back into the store and get it now. She was content with just the lipstick.
Her birthday is Oct 12th. I'm getting her a Clarisonic for her birthday, but now I need to get her something extra too.

2 more bps are mine! The lady at the counter said to me "you realise these are limited edition? Everything is selling out sooooo fast!" I just sort of looked at her like "duh" haha Also she gave me a crazy look when I explained that I already have 4... I don't think she got it
