Back to makeup, though: I didn't go to Mac this morning, but I will go tomorrow. It'll be funny to go there and a couple of department stores in the mall to see what's left. It'll probably be just a nail polish and dazzleglass.

I'm sorry that happened to you and can certainly understand why that would push you to get your license now. I got my license when I was 33 and I'm 36. I still don't feel completely comfortable driving. I will say that being able to drive myself when and where I want makes things a lot easier. Even the little things like just running errands. Here are some tips I was told.

1. Drive at the speed you're comfortable and let them honk! This is from my mom-in-law. Lol, I think I was only going 20mph when I started.

2. Focus on what's in front of you.

3. Breath! Whenever I got too overwhelmed, I would just pull over to the side of the road and calm down.

Nordstrom finally called just before noon today. Thank God...I still have hair and nails left. I was sweating it big time, even though I was assured that my pre-order was safe.
They shipped my Pure Zen, Vintage Vamp, The Perfect Cheek and Penultimate Liner. I had also reserved a Deeply Adored but a friend purchased one for me so I declined it...even though I LOVE the shade. Now I'm done with this collection. Why do I do this? I study the collection in advance of its release, decide what I want, purchase it and then like now, I go back for more.

As I was walking away with my bag full of goodies I said to myself "you said 3 item limit for this collection what happened?" lol

Anyway I got to my counter early it was about 3 other ladies waiting with me at the door for MM. As soon as I got inside I was like this is my list ring me up now. Shontay will be happy to know I got Scarlet Ibis! I still do not like it straight out the tube. Orange just looks funny on me. It's the one lipstick color that's just blah on me, but I paired it on top of cherry liner and it was cute. I think I have to do a full makeup look to get the full bam wow factor of it. I haven't played with my other goodies, but I will soon like 5 minutes soon.

Scarlet Ibis and Cherry l/l! I can't wait to try it! I have the Iris Apfel one but it won't get any love until next month.

The hype started really late and all of a sudden. While there was initial excitement for this collection, it soon cooled down - even after swatches were available. However, once it hit the Pro site, all hell broke loose. The Pro site selling out so fast probably caused a lot of hype around the "regular" release. It's been really crazy, both online and offline. Let's hope the release of the next collection is less hectic and stressful.

I still adore this collection and I love every item (and BU) I got as it suits my pale complexion. The BP is right up my alley: An NW-based soft focus technology with a Careblend-esque powder formula = Pure Love.
