Team more Blue-Violets please!!!!!!

Lust and Grid sound to die for. Fingers crossing that MAC hears our pleas and will bring them back or make similar shades in the not-too-distant future for us.

So true! And i'm with you: more blue-violets! fewer plums - i have plenty - and magentas/fuchsias - i don't wear them.

I wish MAC would bring back
Lust - highly frosted pale blue violet (mine's so old it's in a black cylinder, not a bullet)
and
Grid - dark frosted blue violet (mine's so old it's in a silver bullet tube)

Okay ya'll, we're changing our team from Team Purple to Team Blue-Based Violet. I totally wish we could get Lust and Grid or that blueberry one I hear so much about. I know both of you ladies got the Peacockly blue kissable lip color from MAC for layering, right?

I'll do my best to stick to one product from this collection since I'm planning on just one each from Strength and Apres Chic, but I'm not at all sure what I want it to be. I don't have a mattene yet, so I should probably get one of those, but I love the sound of the lipglasses and Unconventional blush as well. What to do, what to do...

I actually find that Peacocky turns a gorgeous blueberry shade after a little while on my lips.

I also still have Blast O'Blue from a few years back (C-Shock), which looks like the lipstick form of Peacocky but also leaves that sort of blue-purple stain. I think I've collected just about every blue-purple lipstick that Mac has released in recent years (although I somehow missed Potent Fig...) and when they release more... I'll buy more.

That's my attitude too!

I had been only using it for special occasions, since it's my favorite VV gloss and I couldn't get a backup of it. Really happy about this.

And it would be nice to see a lipstick like Orchidazzle again too.

Would someone be able to post a swatch of Lust or Grid? I'm really interested to see how they swatch. I understand that they are old and might not be safe to use on the lips, but since Katred swatched Jet on her hand I was thinking that would be fine with these too.

I'm so excited about this collection along with Strength. This one launches the day after my birthday, so it's a great excuse for me to buy makeup and other stuff.

For some reason, I'm just noticing the description of Revenge is Sweet now. Unless something has changed drastically, it's neither vivid nor purple. On me, it's a slightly lilac-tinged sweetheart pink that's quite lightly pigmented. It's a very pretty gloss, but that description is inaccurate.

Revenge is Sweet - light yellow purple

I hope so! I thought I was just crazy, everybody was talking about how excited they were about it and I kept looking at the swatches and wondering how that could possibly be a vivid purple lol. If it actually is a nice vivid All my purple life like l/g then I'll definitely be getting it though!
