MAC Holiday 2012 Glamour Daze / Fabulousness / Guilty Passions Collection Discussion

I had forgotten about Belk and they had the Glamourdaze in stock. Has anyone ordered from them before? I'm half expecting to get a notification that Glamourdaze isn't in stock after all, but the order went through so I have my fingers crossed.

I wonder if I should call a Nordstrom and ask if they'll ship me one? I'd rather not go to Macy's tomorrow and they refuse to hold anything. Does anyone have a good Nordstrom store they recommend? I know of one in California, but that's on the other side of the country and would prefer something a little closer.

Belk was the only reason I got LG, SI, and Legendary from MM. No issues with them whatsoever. They use smartpost but otherwise not a problem.

I ordered some items from MM collection from Belk. I had never heard of, or shopped there prior to that...thanks to the Speckrettes I learned about Belk. Belk was great with confirmation & shipping notifications, standard shipping was free and I got my merchandise in 4 days.

Since I can't tell what your location is, I would suggest you google "Nordstrom & your zip code". That should give you the closest Nordstrom to you.

TPC is the perfect everyday blush.  are you getting Easy Manner? I've seen comparison swatches. They look very similar.

Innocence doesn't look so good in T's swatch, like its hard to apply to get even coverage. Glamourdaze is sooo nice. I think I'm going to have to go to the store to pick that one up.

I LOVE A Natural Flirt! It is super gorgeous!

It is lighter than UD Scratch (which I love as well). It is buttery and has a sheen just like all the ED shades.

And it is duochrome! On me it flashes peach/pink gold. I wore it today and fell in love!

Reminds me of Solar White!

I am backing it up tomorrow!

How is A Natural Flirt? Is it mostly sparkles, or is it buttery and pigmented? I'm looking for something like UD Scratch.

still waiting on my mac order of Beauty (standard shipping) to change from pending to shipped... I ordered it last night before it was sold out. im starting to get nervous.

Of late, they seem to be a bit tardy with their shipping notifications, by at least a day or two.

Medgal - I put in a call to my Nordstrom SA to see if she could find it for me. I trust she'll come through for me. I should probably get a MAC SA, but I've never really met anyone nice in MAC and I'd have to go through the trouble of trying to creating a relationship by phone. I'll just get my points from Nordies.

Thanks ladies! After spending 20 minutes staring at the compact before work, thinking about it all day at work and happy hour (and occasionally googling the occasional youtube video on how to fix it), I decided that it's ok. The edges on one side are a crumbled mess, but the rest of it broke off into large pieces. I'm not sure if I'll repress it just yet. I will probably set the crumbled pieces aside in a container and will use the two pieces VERY CAREFULLY. If I think that I mess it up even more, I'll revisit the idea of pressing it.

Ugh. This never happens with any of my permanent products. It would have to be a high value, HTF item like Ripe Peach! Kinda ironic, since I use it so sparingly and am usually VERY careful with it. Live and learn, I guess! I do wish I had a BU of it. MAC, do you hear me? PLEASE repromote Ripe Peach!

I know the feeling. I dropped & shattered my Stark Naked blush into pieces awhile back & really wanted to shed tears because I knew it was gonna be impossible to replace. Luckily a super sweet Specktrette sold me her back up.

I love glamourdaze lipstick in temptalia's swatches. But it looks completely different on allura's swatches. Hmm...

I absolutely love Glamourdaze! I believe it's one of those shades that's flattering on every skin-tone. I never buy backups but I am making an exception for GD.

Beauty doesn't look good on me, I'll probably be swapping that one away. I don't like Dramatic Encounter either. Me & super dark lippies have never been a good match.
