Hubs got me these for my Birthday (4th) so he thought I needed some matching makeup. I think Divine Desire will work just fine

So I've been thinking about Boys Go Crazy Dazzleglass even though I decided to not get the set (really, I'm not!). At first I thought it would be similar to Funtabulous Dazzleglass, but it seems much, much darker after looking at previously posted swatches. Now I'm wondering if it may be similar to YSL White Gold Amethyst Golden Gloss. If it is, then I'll get the YSL gloss. It's more expensive, but it's larger even compared to full size MAC Dazzleglasses. I have MAC Funtabulous and YSL White Gold Topaz are extremely similar. I much prefer MAC's vanilla scent to the YSL grape/floral one, but I find the YSL gloss to be less sticky.

Boys Go Crazy is the main gloss that interested me in the set since I already have Color Saturation with a BU. I think I would get my money's worth by getting the one YSL gloss over the four mini set in this case. The YSL gloss also seems more luxurious to me since it contains bits of real gold. Does anyone have both to compare?

I ordered the Brilliantly Cool piggies and now I can't decide if I want the Sweetly Smoky piggies or the Lavish Rose set. Weirdly I originally wanted the Lavish Rose set for BGC d/g but after seeing swatches I'm not sure if I like it at all since it looks more berry than purple. Hmm. I bet it would be pretty over Rebel l/s and the like though. And the lip sets are such a value compared to buying d/g and c/s/g buy themselves. Meh. I have MAC fatigue!

How would you guys use BGC d/g?

If anyone here has bought the Cocktail Coral Lip Gloss Set and doesn't want Out For glamour dazzleglass, please let me know! That's the only thing I want from that set, but won't buy the whole set just for one dazzleglass. Thanks.

Thank you! I love your pictures and swatches! I envy you that you got both sets. ;)
I agree, MAC should skip 129SE to lower the kit price down. I'm not a big fan of 129SE.

I'm so happy for you, elegant! Please please let us know how you like the pink set! I'm still undecided.

Yes I was only going to get the Quite Coral kit but I love the Paramour Pink Kit one more in some ways. They both work well together as well.

The Paramour Pink Kit I can see more people being able to use it because the shades of pink are more universal. Quite Coral kit is more of a fair the light medium range.

It get to the point you get the same brush in these kits every year and I don't use them at all unless their a lip brush. haha
Plus I 98% animal hair free n my brushes now and my skin thanks me for it.

To add salt to the wound, YSL.com has a promo where you get a day planner with a $75+ purchase. I'm a sucker for that type of thing. I was planning to get one of their The Mats lipsticks during Sephora's F&F sale, but we know how that went. I really shouldn't buy anything else, but this may cause me to pull the trigger. I'm thinking the White Gold Amethyst gloss, Rouge Rock or Grenat Satisfaction The Mats lipstick, and something else to qualify. Maybe a nail polish.

I tried GD and OF lippies and wasn't wowed with how they looked on me, so I won't be keeping the backups after all.

R u planning on returning or selling? I'm sorry you weren't as pleased as you thought you would be. That's a total bummer.
