To protect my brushes in transit to a concert, to visit family, or on vacation, i use:
Brush Guards - http://www.thebrushguard.com/
and
Brush Protectors - http://www.sephora.com/brush-protectors-set-P303343

I like the Brush Guards better - they're lighter and colorless, so i can see my brushes. The sephora ones are heavier and dark, so i only put them on my bigger brushes

Is there a trick to making WoG show up on dry skin? I have tried several different brushes, and all I am getting is a slight whisper of glitter...I would like more of an actual highlight. I feel like all that I am getting is a slight layer of glitter over my blush instead of a glowy highlight. I am either NW25 or NC20 (a mystery that I still haven't solved at this point)...so basically light to medium complexioned. TIA for any advice!

Today's basic experiment.........Stylishly Merry EDES with Feminine Edge as a base. Prussian e/l on waterline. Hot House Lipgloss (from 2007!!!) Ring of Saturn Blush. I am satisfied with the look.
Oh Debbs..this sounds lovely. Must try soon!!!

Great swatches. It's interesting how some are so close but the subtle differences can be seen. Thanks for sharing!
Did some comparison swatches of the blushers from this collection...Hope this will help those who are still comtemplating on the blushers =)

Sorry for this question. I'm sure this has been covered. I've been out of touch due to my father-in-law passing away.

I was wondering what you guys thought of the eye shadow palettes. The packaging is so cute but I've purchased things way too often in past for that reason only. then find late I'm not that crazy about the product.

T gave them only an only average review but many times she's way off from others think. and I trust my specktra friends to be in the know.

I used this one for my look yesterday. Although I omitted the lower lashes cause I couldn't get them to stay... I think they were too long and might have been too nuts for work. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-TnMSLF1QU&feature=plcp
The upper eye look was very nice and quite doable. I can't imagine where I would wear the lower eye look but I enjoyed watching the video. Thanks for sharing!

Did anyone get the Sinfully Chic Face Kit from Nordstrom? The insert holding the product comes out and the case becomes a clutch. So cute!
Yes, I got it. I peeped at it briefly but my Nordstrom 'Angel of MAC' wrapped it so nicely with pale peach and green MAC ribbon that I quickly put it back just to look at it for awhile. I'll take pics just to share how it was presented...so nice.

I've also been wondering this. I always buy a holiday palette and then rarely use it, but this packaging is so cute. I already think I'm going back to my counter for the pink lip bag and the mint brush set.

I'm also sorry for your loss. My grandma passed away recently so I'm out of the loop with all the Mac info as well.

O yes, I am pretty sure our husbands are brothers of a different mother. I cannot tell you how many times I have heard that about money/don't need makeup from my husband. My addictions are not appealing to him, but my 15 year old niece loves checking out my armoire and drawers.
Yup he gives me crap for buying stuff but there's a priority mail box that came in for him today lol. He's all it takes too much space and all. But he has a MGA in the garage in pieces bc we can't afford to fix it and honestly he's kinda too big for it. He is talking about selling it to someone who'll fix it up as it was his mom's years ago. Oh, and tools and car parts take up space too lol.

Finally, left the house so I wore some of these products. I've had all of these goodies but have had no interest in playing with them much. Anyway, I went very simple and just put on Catch My Eye Fluidline as a base on the lid using the silicone applicator. I then layered Stolen Moment over that. Lined the upper lash line with Blitz & Glitz fluidline. Rest of the face was non-Mac - Chanel Tumulte blush, Burberry Mocha Glow lipstick.

I still have yet to try these new fluidlines as liner. I saw a comparison on another website of Rich Core and the similar color from this collection (can't recall the name). They didn't look the same to me so I may have to add that one. I did feel cheated with the size of these EDES but that didn't stop me from caving and buying a bunch. I did try Ready to Party over Feminine Edge and liked that look at well. Hopefully, I'll play a bit more this weekend.

So sorry for your loss.

I tried all of the colors of the palettes on my hand applied with a cotton swab and they all swatched fine on my nc44 skin. I'm debating getting these. I feel like I should wait because they almost never sell out but there is always a first time.

I am so sorry for your loss.

I purchased the warm eyes palette. It is a nice palette, but there are better ones out there with similar shades. I recently picked up Guerlain's Turnadot (sp?) palette, which is much nicer.
