I went to the mall yesterday to look at the Glamourdaze collection at the MAC store. The store was crazy full and all of the lipsticks were sold out, but they had everything else left. They have a lot of the kits except for the ones from Guilty Passions. I really liked the Paramour Pink and Luxurious Pink kits, but that Purple Dash liner from the PP kit and the leopard bag from the LP kit were total deal breakers for me. I swatched the EDES and they are really pigmented! I really liked Evening Grey, Ready to Party, Divine Blue, Stolen Moment, and Tall Dark and Handsome.
The Macy's MAC store had everything, including all of the lipsticks. I swatched them all and to my surprise, I really liked how Beauty looked on me. It's a lovely pale pink that didn't wash me out. It's also very creamy glaze and reminded me of Hue (a fav. of mine) in that aspect. Innocence looked really nice and wasn't a hot frosty mess like I was expecting, but the frost finish felt a bit off for me. Idk, it felt a little flaky and uneven. Are frost lipsticks supposed to be like that? I don't know if I should give it a chance since I don't own any frost lipsticks and Innocence is the first frost lipstick that I ever tried on, but I really liked the color. Outrageously Fun looked a bit more magenta than purple on me, but I didn't find the color unique to buy it instantly. It's still a pretty color for anytime. Glamourdaze looked really nice, but I think other people can pull it off better. Dramatic Encounter pulled a bit red on me, but I'm still shy going out wearing that kind of dramatic color so it was a pass for me. :S I didn't swatch the fluidlines, EDS, blushes, and the nail polishes. Out of the lipglasses, I liked Talk Softly to Me and from the eye pencils, Feline.
The only item I've bought so far is Beauty lp, but I'll buy Talk Softly to Me and Feline kohl power eye liner later on. Maybe I'll give Innocence, Dramatic Encounter, and Outrageously Fun a second chance.
