damn you guys, now you're making me want the rest of the lippies from this collection!!!

minus SI, i hate orangey reds!

i wanted to add, i tried CIS on my bottom lip and MAC Red on my top lip and they looked identical on me colourwise, the finish is obviously different as one of them is matte and the other one is a satin, but the colour was the same!

Does anyone have Tissueweight from the Pret a Papier collection? It's a sheeny, less chalky Forever Marilyn type shade. Maybe slightly warmer. It's nice.

L'Impatiente is a deep colour, very pretty for fall/winter. It's also perfect with Star Dust blush which is very soft and light.

the finish is just fantastic, all my Chanel polishes wear quite long ( maybe not as long as the Nars or the Essie or OPI ones ), but I very often wear polish on my toes only, on the hands all polishes wear 2-3 days even high end ones.
Everyone wants Malice here, all say it's a really beautiful colour, I fully agree.

I don't agree either! Hang up is more of a berry color (with a Cremesheen finish), L' impatiente seems a lot darker, with a cooler undertone and matte (well, velvet if you will).

I think you've just enabled me to buy Malice, and I just ordered three nail polishes yesterday! (Essie's Bahama Mama, OPI Tomorrow Never Dies and The World is not enough). I hope Malice will hit the stores soon here, all the swatches I've seen are awesome and I just can't wait to see it in person.

Yes! I loved that whole collection, but not sure I have Tissueweight. I have been wanting to track it down. Was it the uber pale lavender color?

It's a pink-beige highlighter e/s, but it's much frostier than FM. It definitely leans more pink than yellow/peach, so it's a very good match for pale cool complexions (NW10-20). I do like it a lot, but I wouldn't want to apply all-over due to the frost finish (given the size, this might prove to be difficult anyway).

Can someone tell me what is the closest dupe to Charmed I am sure? It is the perfect red for me and I don't even wanted to use mine until I got a back up :p

like i said a few posts up, MAC Red is extremely close to CIS on me. I wore one on my top lip and the other one on my bottom lip and no one could tell the difference! CIS is obviously matte and MR is a satin but apart from that the shade is almost the same!

I ordered Malice even though I rarely paint my nails. (When I do they look fake.) I'm really excited to get it for Fall. The shade is right up my alley.

hello again!

i went to MAC and sephora this morning and i found some nice "dupes" for the Marilyn lippies

R03 Passion Red is super super similar to Deeply Adored
R05 Hot Tango is virtually identical to MAC Red, which means is also super similar to Charmed I'm Sure
R09 Valentine is very close to Love Goddess, although LC is still lighter, the colours are similar though

please bear in mind that you have to take into account the finishes as well as the colours. Sephora lippies are more creamier, similar to MAC's satins, whereas CIS and DA are mattes so the colours are very close but the finishes are different. as you know you can make a satin or cream lipstick look quite matte if you apply it with a brush and then blot with some tissue
