BTW I tried the ETG polish on this evening and it went on ok. It is a bit thick and it's better to work quickly, but it's not bad IMHO. I would rather have this polish be thick than thin. I love the colour it's so sparkly!

I've worn mine too & like it a lot. I didn't have any issues with thickness...normal consistency & applies well w/a base coat.

I received that expensive Divine Desire Pink set

I LOVE the colors in it.

The gloss is not too unique, but is a soft light/medium peachy rosy pink.
Heart to Heart lipstick - AMAZINGLY Beautiful on!!! Its such a pretty Reddened Watermelon Pink color. Its not really like Watch Me Simmer. WMS is more Coral/Orange. It also made my lips look very full & plump.
Divine Desire blush - OMGosh its such a beautiful soft blue based pink blush with the prettiest soft subtle pearl sheen. Very skin glowing/softening/enhancing.
Purple Dash liner - The color is very pretty and I really like it too & did not find it to be rough/dry when lining as T said. It went on smoothly & is a lovely more Purple Aubergine instead of a Burgundy based Aubergine
The brush is just ok.

For me, the lipstick & blush are so pretty that it was worth it.

Your brush collection must be huge!

I started slowly and only bought brushes as I needed them or when I was ready to try a new technique. There are a few brushes I wish I had purchased when they were available now that I'm a bit more experienced and have expanded into more products. Hopefully I can find them at a CCO or they'll be repromoted.

It's probably more substantial then necessary since I'm not a Pro & I don't do anyone else's makeup. I try to circulate usage but there are some that I just like using more than others.
Which brushes are you looking for?

Tink tree, Juicy tree, and family tree. Sorry for the OT pics but had to share since we are talking about christmas!! Its my favorite time of year, my family and I are usually together for Christmas eve, since most of us work on holidays ( mom and bro at hospital and me at hotel). Its a good thing I only have to buy presents for my two brothers, everyone else is done!! So hopefully I get all the MAC i want =)

Okay. Please excuse how absolutely horrible I look. I have to take photos by the window for them to show up properly and I only had 4hrs sleep last night so the light was blinding me hence the horrid face and inability to smile, lol. In the photo I'm wearing GlamourDaze l/s, Small Vanity blush and Whisper of Gilt EDSF on my cheek bones, all on NC15.

I get my Paramour Pink Face Kit next week and I hope I like it as much. Reading your description made me glad that I ordered it...confirmed that I made a good choice

I was a tad concerned because I ordered it w/o having seen it in person. I find that the 129 brush that comes with these kits (I have the Sinfully Chic Face kit) is not as dense as the permanent 129 SH, but for me they're ok for on the go touchups & travel.

I have to wait another 2 weeks to get all my stuff cos' I bought it through a parcel forwarding company, oh well! building the excitement!

I actually caved and got the Divine Desire pink paramour kit after elegant-one's rave review!

Funny you mention taking on extra shifts - I was just thinking about taking on a second job after seeing that my local Macy's is hiring holiday workers. Getting a store discount plus building a rainy day makeup fund is a little tempting.

Anybody try layering ETG over a good black polish to see if the problem with opacity is worked out? Don't we mainly want it for the glitters???

Yes, I did. I used a black YSL polish and one layer of ETG over it and sealed it with Essie's Good to Go. Did my nails on Monday, today I see a little bit tipwear, but it's ok, especially because I do a lot of housework at the moment! Bottom line: it's a really pretty manicure and I'm glad I got ETG, but I think I wouldn't wear it on its own due to the gloopy texture.

I didn't have any problems with the opacity of ETG. I just did base coat, two layers of ETG and two layers top coat.(I like to do two for glitter polish). Ow and I have longer nails, so they obviously need more polish than short nails and it was still fine if I just wiped off one side of the brush.

Since monday it's ready to ship. They already sent me the tracking number but still no progress. it's still at MAC.

I already sent them an email asking why it takes so long but I didn't get a good anwer. Just that I ordered on a weekend and that's why it takes so long.
That's not a satisfying answer

Wow they are really slow! it was the first time I ordered through the MAC site.

Did you also get the tracking number and then had to wait so long?
