Me too....I am most excited for these and the MES!

I will only get Haute Altitude and skip the other lippies.I have a feeling that the others are just not "my" colors.

Thanks for all the info Liba, very useful!

I'm so excited for this collection, especially the Tinted Lip Balms

I've been on a gloss no-buy the past months for them so i really hope they'll be amazing. I'm also lemming Haute Altitude right now, a softer more feminine Mehr sounds truly stunning!

Thanks Liba for the review! I'm definitely looking forward to Silver Birch, because I am so sad I missed out on Golden Gaze from the semi precious collection. Still kicking myself till this day :(

I would probably end up with one or two lipsticks, stereo rose, and two of the MES.

Liba- thank you for your detailed reviews. I love reading your descriptions and can't wait to find out what you think about the lip balms. Does anyone know when this will launch in Europe? Just after Christmas or in February like last year?

Lip Balm Talk:

These balms are really nice. They're quite sheer, though, so be prepared for that. However they definitely add some subtle and noticeable color to your lips even still. The texture is very soft and gel-like, somewhere between a lip gelee and a cremesheen glass. They all have a subtle shimmer too, but it doesn't read as glittery or sparkly - it's more the micro type that just makes your lips look nice and full. The effect of all of these is very much like the Cremesheen + Pearl c/s/gs, like Rising Sun (which is beautiful). One thing that is rather unique about them is you can blot them down! Blotting takes away any sparkle, but leaves a nice even stain of color and a hydrated look for your lips. Unlike pretty much all glosses I can think of, blotting does not make these get crumbly or uneven. These aren't replacements for Lip Gelees, as they don't have that thick, dense pearl and sparkle at all.

I wasn't able to wear any of them long enough to see how much of a real hydrating lip treatment they are, but I certainly had been abusing my lips trying on all these pigmented matte lipsticks and when I was done, my lips were fine, not shredded, like they'd normally be. I wish they'd offered a clear one you could wear at bedtime. I do prefer these to the Tendertones, since these hardly have a fragrance (the kiwi fragrance on the TTs isn't up my alley - I don't like fruity perfumes much). Also, a tube is just so much better than a pot. Finally I like the texture better by a little bit, it's a little more cushiony feeling.

Rosy Romance: I think this will be the one everyone goes for. It looks like a dusty mid-tone rosy plum in the tube. On the lips, it gives a nice healthy deepened effect without looking too red. If you have red pigmented lips and only want to get one, I'd say this would be the easy, no-brainer one to get.

Nice & Simple: Did you love Tropical Mist lipstick? Did you want to love Tropical Mist, but it wasn't quite right for your lip color? This one will take care of you. I thought it looked great - just a slight nude canceling while also adding volume. It doesn't read overtly bronze or gold, the effect is quite subtle.

Stay Warm!: If Rosy Romance isn't the one people grab first, this will be the one they do. It looks like a very cute, milky pink in the tube, but it doesn't look milky at all on the lips. It gives only a very subtle lightening effect when tried on by itself, but it definitely balances the lipsticks in this collection to more of a pink cast when worn on top. If you have paler lips, the pink will come out more on its own, I think, than it does on my red lips.

Slightly Nude and Pure & Tender: I didn't try these on my lips, but they're both very basic and straightforward. Slightly Nude looks like a nude coral in the tube, very soft and dusky - a lot of people will love this one. Pure & Tender looks more like a straight nude, but it's not light or milky, it's nude with a very subtle taupe undertone. It should be very wearable.

I put one of each on hold, but I may cut my list down to Rosy Romance, Nice & Simple and Stay Warm!. However, I just may wind up getting them all, because they're absolutely a better-than-gloss option for your lips when you don't want to be too done up, especially if you wear them blotted down. They should have a really fantastic lasting power too, because of their blot down ability.

Pro Longwear Eye Liners:

These are waterline approved AND waterproof, which is excellent. I had Night Trail in my waterline and rimming the lash lines and did an hour workout right after and sweated up a storm and it stayed just fine without smudging or running, even in the waterline! That was impressive. It didn't feel irritating to my eyes like a lot of waterproof liners do, either. Finally, when you did want to take it off, it came off well without a big struggle, which is greatly appreciated, again without irritation. They have a sort of waxy feeling to them, kind of like the p/l lip liners, but for the most part they apply smoothly - they aren't all totally equal in this department, though.

Snow Shadow is the one that has the most trouble. It's a little too waxy and it's not opaque, even if you keep layering it on. It doesn't show up in the waterline either. Such a shame, because it looks great - it just doesn't work that great.

Mountain Air is the richest and brightest and creamiest. It is SO teal, very much a 90's teal, though, so it's bright, but not tropical bright. There isn't much white in the mix. If you love teal liner, have mid or dark skin, and/or brown eyes, you're gonna flip over this one.

Night Trail is my personal favorite. When you swatch it on your hand, it looks like a petrol blue shimmer on top of a black base, but when applied to the eye, it just reads deep inky navy, almost with a purplish cast (at least on me - I think that'd be related to your eye color and also the general color of your lids and lashes). Very sexy and just the right color to set off all the beautiful lipsticks and MES in this collection.

Rich Experience is a very nice, rich brown - it's close to Lord It Up, but a little richer, there's a bit of a sheen to it too, when swatched, but I didn't try it on my eyes.

Black Ice looks like a deep black, but not quite as blue/black as Feline, definitely blacker than some other MAC black pencils, though. I didn't try this one on, but it seemed quite creamy, maybe the creamiest one of the bunch.

If you need a high quality waterproof pencil that isn't irritating, hard to apply or hard to remove, these will take care of business very well. I'm glad they'll be perm.

The new eye brush seems nice enough, but I haven't really been convinced by the duo fiber eye brushes, even though I love skunk for face brushes. It's a bit flat, but it's a good length - not too long to lose control but long enough to be flexible. It's pretty small so you'll be able to get detailed with it. I didn't try it out with the MES, since I didn't want to mess up their display brush. I might go back and try it before launch if it isn't a hectic day and they're willing to put a used brush in the display, but I normally feel like this is asking too much.

The nail polishes are pretty cute too. I didn't try these on my nails, but the the description of Dangerously Fun as a berry tone blue red doesn't sound right, from the way it looks in the bottle, but those things can be very different on the nail. It reminded me a little bit of China Glaze Adventure Red, if you'd like something with the same feeling for cheaper. Adventure Red's darker than this one, though.

Still skipping the MES... my eyes and contacts can't handle them.
I'm the same. While they sound lovely, MES irritate the outer corners of my eyes and makes me tear up, causing half the makeup to wipe off anyway. I'm certainly excited for those MBs though! And the lipsticks.

If you're thinking about buying blushes from this one or from Strength, I think you could choose one between Amber Glow and Poised if you need. Poised has a little more color to it, Amber Glow adds more effects to the skin. If you have Light Year MSF, you could use it instead of Amber Glow too, although LY is more sparkly + matte. I think I'm going to splurge and snag them all, but another thing to consider is that this sort of nude blush is going to be HUGE in 2013, so there will be even more options down the road, if you want to cut corners right now.

My list is still the same, I am just stoked by the awesome reviews Liba gave the products.
Lipstick
Après ChicPinky brick red (Cremesheen) Gotta have it.
Hot Chocolate Mid-tone plum (Satin) Sounds divine.
Cozy UpDeep caramel (Matte) Sounds like it won't be too blorange, so its on.

Mineralize Tinted Lip Balm (I want all of these)
Pure & TenderPlumy creamy nude-- sounds ubiquitously pretty
Slightly Nude – Nudey coral with subtle pink pearlized pigments--probably a skip--I have tons of peachy lip stuff and don't need more.
Nice & SimpleBronzy gold with multi-dimensional pearlized pigments-- this sounds the most unique, I will probably get it
Rosy Romance Bluish plum with subtle pink pearlized pigments sounds like a good MBLL color
Stay Warm! – Creamy light pink--Skip, it sounds like it will give that milk mouth effect!

Mineralize Eye Shadow
Ice – Light peach base with white veining this is a maybe, sounds like a good browlighter though
Silver Birch Grey base with peach veining the most interesting one by description and by Liba's review, its a MUST HAVE
FiresideDeep plum with grey veining is probably what I wanted Winterized to be and a team purple must-have
Frost at MidnightDeep blue-grey base with purple veining this ones sounds like per Liba's review is really gorgeous and multidimensional, back in the MUST HAVE pile
Winter PursuitCopper base with grey veining I can hardly resist anything taupe. Per Liba's review, it sounds like a warm nude with shimmer that will be perfect for the crease--another MUST HAVE

Pro Longwear Eye Liner (will probably get them eventually, thank goodness they are perm so the cost can be diffused)
Black Ice – Rich black * I would get this one because I love the name, and who can't use black?
Rich Experience – True brown * I love brown, so its a win
Mountain Air – Vibrant teal * Probably a skip as Undercurrent has my teal needs covered
Night Trail – Deep navy blue * Gone from a maybe to a YES from Liba's review, sounds like a gorgeous version of Black Russian with the PLW formulation, WIN WIN
Snow Shadow – Purple violet * Sounds like a mess in the application, so it is a pass

Mineralize Skinfinish (these are both a skip, as I have tried both, have PP and don't need a BU, SR looks hideous on me)
Mineralize Blush
Gentle – Raspberry with gold pearlized pigments ° Will be hard to skip, wonder how close it will be to the magenta MES from Heavenly Critters? Sounds like it is different enough per Liba's review to justify having it, WAIT, I think I already have this unless its a repeat name, new product
Alpine Bronze Mid-tone caramel Is actually the item from the collection I am most interested to see the swatches. I think it will be a MUST

My list is actually mostly unchanged, her reviews confirmed most of my initial ponderings or clarified questions, with the addition of some things I was iffy about and minus the purple eyeliner with the application issues

Thank you Liba, you rock

Hi xasperadastra! Having seen your pictures and what you normally buy, you will definitely rock Apres Chic and Warm Companion! You might look even better in Cozy Up than Warm Companion, in my opinion - I think that one would make you look like a 70's fashion star like Ali McGraw:

uhhh in the beginning I was interested in Cozy up (caramel.. yum!) but at the same time I'm a bit afraid it could be flat, I hope I can try it in store! I'm also afraid I'll like more things.. I love lipsticks! and mineral stuff too ^______^
The funny thing is that this actress has the same "cheekbone shape" (if this description makes sense) of me XD

Mineralize Tinted Lip Balm (I want all of these) Pure & TenderPlumy creamy nude-- sounds ubiquitously pretty
Slightly Nude – Nudey coral with subtle pink pearlized pigments--probably a skip--I have tons of peachy lip stuff and don't need more.
^^^^^This one is not peachy, it's coral for sure, just very soft and gentle. It's in the same style as So Vain kissable l/g. Nice & SimpleBronzy gold with multi-dimensional pearlized pigments-- this sounds the most unique, I will probably get it ^^^^^Looks more unique in the tube than on, but what it does is really great. On paler lips I think it will read more bronze gold, rather than just nude like on me. Rosy RomanceBluish plum with subtle pink pearlized pigments sounds like a good MBLL color
Stay Warm! – Creamy light pink--Skip, it sounds like it will give that milk mouth effect!
^^^^^^^^This isn't milky - the formula doesn't settle into lip lines and it's pale but not whitish. It's one of the nicest ones, I think. Mineralize Eye Shadow Ice – Light peach base with white veining this is a maybe, sounds like a good browlighter though
Silver BirchGrey base with peach veining the most interesting one by description and by Liba's review, its a MUST HAVE
^^^^^^Everything I wished Dalliance had been on me, but wasn't. It's awesome!
FiresideDeep plum with grey veining is probably what I wanted Winterized to be and a team purple must-have
^^^^^the description is weird on this one, it looks plum in the pan, but on, it's much more like a warm neutral shade, without much red or plum undertone. It's very duochrome with a bluegreen highlight.
Frost at MidnightDeep blue-grey base with purple veining this ones sounds like per Liba's review is really gorgeous and multidimensional, back in the MUST HAVE pile
Winter PursuitCopper base with grey veining I can hardly resist anything taupe. Per Liba's review, it sounds like a warm nude with shimmer that will be perfect for the crease--another MUST HAVE
Pro Longwear Eye Liner (will probably get them eventually, thank goodness they are perm so the cost can be diffused Mountain Air – Vibrant teal * Probably a skip as Undercurrent has my teal needs covered ^^^^^^this one is very turquoise teal, not green teal like Undercurrent. People are going to love it. Mineralize Skinfinish (these are both a skip, as I have tried both, have PP and don't need a BU, SR looks hideous on me) Mineralize Blush Gentle – Raspberry with gold pearlized pigments ° Will be hard to skip, wonder how close it will be to the magenta MES from Heavenly Critters? Sounds like it is different enough per Liba's review to justify having it, WAIT, I think I already have this unless its a repeat name, new product ^^^^^^I didn't review this one since it's perm. I didn't even try it, but it's basically a soft pink akin to Subtle Breeze. Alpine BronzeMid-tone caramel Is actually the item from the collection I am most interested to see the swatches. I think it will be a MUST ^^^^^^^^^It's going to be hard to tell why this one is so nice from swatches, because it's pretty subtle. Definitely worth it, though.

You two have a very similar face shape!

Cozy Up doesn't look flat at all, even though it is a matte. It's a great nude for NC15 (and others too!)
