haha no problem! i love checkin in here and seeing what everyone else finds and posts and love when i am able to do the same. but i agree. consistency would be nice. even just callin around trying to preorder is a nightmare and you get a handful of different answers.

I know! I don't understand why they haven't released online at least for PRO members! If it's released at PRO stores, then it should be available for purchase online. I feel like this happens almost every year when they release their 12/26 collections. I wish they would just be consistent with their release dates and schedule. Some collections they release on time without any hassles and then some we wait for days.
The Pro releases have been really spotty lately, especially after MM. I almost assume they took away early releases on Pro.

SRSLY, if someone could knit me a hoodie like the chick in the promo pic, I think I could skip the entire collection. But only if I had one of those hoodies...with the orange doodie thick yarns

Moonzie, thank you so much for taking the time to write this for us. It's so helpful!!!

Hello everybody! I'm new as a poster to this site, but I've been looking at threads for awhile to get info when I need it! I was able to take a look at everything for this collection last night to place a pre-order. I wanted to add a couple of my opinions to the discussion since I got to swatch the products, and I wanted to include some comments on how some of this stuff looks on an NC40/42. Here we go!

Mineralize Blushes

Alpine Bronze: I initially wasn't sure if I even wanted to look at this since it seemed like it was on the lighter side of brown, and sometimes colors like that are completely pointless for my skin tone. I ended up getting AB because it gave my face a nice glow, and I realized that I don't have anything that does this without being a pink or coral-based blush. It reminded me of NARS Laguna, except it has more pigmentation and has a sheen to it instead of shimmer. I'd say that skin tones darker than mine should check this out in person to decide whether it's worth buying or not.
Amber Glow: Straight up highlighter on me. It seemed very white-based on my skin, so it was borderline chalky despite having some nice shimmer in it. It didn't wow me at all since it behaved like any other mediocre highlighter would on me. Sidenote: I have sensitive skin, but I can tolerate Mineralize products just fine. This is the only thing from MAC that has ever given me a reaction. It stung right after I swatched it, and the back of my hand flushed where I put it almost immediately. I had also swatched Alpine Bronze and Stereo Rose on the same hand, and my skin was fine in those areas. This might have been a fluke (the weather has changed where I am, so I'm drier than usual), but I highly recommend that people with sensitive skin test this in person before buying.

Lipsticks

Warm Companion: Buy this if you like layering lipstick/lipgloss, etc. It looks AWESOME when it's mixed with Cozy Up.
Cozy Up: Speaking of which, if you're around the NC40/42 range, this would make for a lovely nude. I love anything warm-toned since my skin pulls pretty yellow (especially when I've lost my tan), and this was very flattering on me.
Hot Chocolate: For those of you worrying about the brown in this lipstick, you shouldn't. It was pretty solidly plum on me! I feel like this will shift in tone depending on what your skin tone is, though.
Apres Chic: This reminded me of NARS Moscow. It has that same strawberry red tone to it on me, and I think that this is another example of a lipstick that will look different on everybody. It leaned warmer on my face.
Haute Attitude: I really loved this. This looked like a more neutral pink to me, and it's beautiful. It has a pop to it even though it's a very basic lip color. This is another one that you just have to try to see how it looks on you.

All the eyeshadows were very soft, and they seemed much more pigmented than what came out with Heavenly Creature. I can't remember my impressions about them other than loving every single one. I apologize for not having pictures! I was in a rush and didn't have time to take a picture of everything I looked at before I left the store.

I have been checking the mac website all day today! I have never been as excited for a collection to come out! (Although to be fair, I've only just recently gotten into MAC collections) I hope it shows up soon!

You'll need some fat needles to knit that hoodie. ROFL

I just got back from pre-ordering my goodies at Macys. I needed to swatch them before I purchased anything, and I'm glad that I did. I pre-ordered: Stereo Rose, Apres Chic, Haute Altitude, Hot Chocolate, and Silver Birch. I wasn't planning to buy any MES, but Silver Birch is soooo pretty! It's kind of a silvery griege. The lipsticks really are the prettiest that I've seen in a while, but that may because I prefer more wearable colors. Haute Altitude is a very nice pink. I really don't have anything like it. I do think it looks a bit like Mehr, based on swatches. I don't actually own that color. Hot Chocolate appears more pink-brown on my naturally rosy lips. I don't consider it plum. It's more of a "rosewood" on me.

When I asked about the Strength collection, the SA said that they wouldn't get it for a while. I thought that was really odd.

Thanks for the reviews! This is making me want Cozy Up and Apres Chic as well. oh noes. on the + side, think I am skipping both MB.

Anybody can hazzard a guess which MES the model is wearing--would it be Winter Pursuit?

Not that the staff at the Pro store here know better than others, but the sales assistant told me today that the prolongwear liners are permanent. (Incidentally she said the pressed piggies are also.) Anyway, checked out this collection just now, with the exception of hot chocolate, which was MIA. I was tempted by the pale peach blush, which would make a beautiful highlight on my skin, but I'm shockingly blushed out! I only picked up frost at midnight MES - the other MES are pretty too, but they don't look that exciting on me. I was hoping Fireside looked more like smoked ruby than the crushed pig from the holiday coll. The lipsticks are all beautiful, but staying away from those too. I guess I'm coming to a critical mass.

Just received a Mac ecard for $100 from one of my docs. I prefer in store orders vs online ordering. What to do???

Finally got hands on SR. Nice, but other coral products that give similar effect. Fireside is epic!! Duo chrome and everything a purple lover could hope for. Frost at midnight lighter than expected, still beautiful and has more depth than I imagined. Silver birch is a must my friends. Nothing else I own like it. Thinking of getting another! The eyeliner is diff colors in diff lights, pretty if u are willing to spend the cash. I wanted some lip products but unsure how it would look on me. Lets all say thanks to my lovely fiancé who went on a mission to Mac Pro for me while I was at work. Will def be checking out the collection this wknd bc I have a feeling the other eye shadows may be worth checking out.

P.s. all from my iPhone. plz excuse the hasty swatches for myself as i came home and couldnt share the wealth fast enough. Hopefully it helps someone and pops up online soon so u all can enjoy. I am never the first to get products but I surely stalked the hell out of this collection! Haha
