MAC Strength Collection Discussion (December 2012)

My Pink Pigeons shipped from a MAC freestanding store arrived today. They were put into a padded envelope, so my boxes are a little beat up (grumble). I really like the color and it is different from Candy Yum Yum. Like someone else said, Candy Yum Yum is still brighter and more neon than Pink Pigeon. Pink Pigeon is more wearable for my skin tone, and that's the one I would choose if I had to pick one between the two of them. However, I think I favor Party Parrot more than Pink Pigeon. I may break my 1 BU limit rule to get another BU of Party Parrot.

Packages two and three with my Apres Chic items should be delivered tomorrow.

Can't wait to see party parrot

Is it just my poor vision, or are those quads very similar?

Yeah, they do seem similar to me. I really like them, all woman seems. To be darker which I think I can use for my usual smokey eye.

I did all the pics with my phone so they aren't the bes. In person inner strength looks kind of like a lighter version of all woman.

Here they are together with what little day light was left. All woman is on top. The inner strength quad took two passes to build the color up, all woman was all just once.

Thank you for the pics. I was thinking about getting both quads but seeing the two so close together makes me realize I only need All Woman.

It looks like All Woman is the quad with the better pigmentation. But I really like that mauvy pink color in Inner Strength quad...

Under normal circumstances I wouldn't look twice at these quads but I'm on a neutral eye kick lately (a gal needs to balance out 'em eye searing lippies!

) and I'm happy I'm getting both.

I've got my express 2nd order coming tomorrow (Canada). My 1st (big order) is still pending since it was standard shipping. I guess I shouldn't expect it until next Friday Argh!
Too bad we didnt know about the free express shipping code sooner (

Got my haul yesterday bright and early. So far I love all of the lipsticks. I picked up 4/5 lipsticks, skipping firm form. Im miffed they said that i couldnt b2m for the LE lipsticks when i called, but when i got there the sales girl said i could have (but i left my empties at home) Mac needs to get a uniform policy on b2m. Strong woman might be my favorite and I hadn't planned to get it. I love it with magenta lip liner. I also picked up all woman quad as an impulse buy. I have worn it once and I'm not over the moon for it yet.

so i passed on apres chic but got 4/5 of strength cause firm form was already sold out

I held out for the free shipping code lol I ordered firm form, haute altitude, party parrot and hot chocolate from the US site and sent them to the border I'm near and that one says its due next Friday
