Temptalia said that heroine was more pink/magenta compared to strong woman. I dont think Heroine looks like that at all. I guess thats why everything she says i take with a grain of salt

I think she mentioned before that she uses her Swatch Gallery for comparison. I wish she would actually swatch the products side by side like she used to. I understand that might be too time consuming, but it is more helpful to me.

Does anyone who have the original party parrot and already have the new one?

I know temptalia changed her studio lighting and everything, but the swatches look SO different colorwise. The first one is a bright neon lightish coral pink whereas the review she just did for strength, the party parrot swatches looks much darker.


Actually, I just noticed she changed the original iris apfel review party parrot and pink pigeon swatches to the ones she just did for the strength collection, but the original swatch where the color is much lighter, shows up on google search still.

It's a gorgeous colour! I just wish it was less dry, my others Matte lipstick are more forgiving if my lips aren't perfectly smooth.

I live in WA too and mine have never taken that long even w/standard shipping. Must be a holiday thing.

seriously? I live in WA too and they always come from Kentucky and take so damn long to arrive.. at least a full 6-7 business days

I've got my express 2nd order coming tomorrow (Canada). My 1st (big order) is still pending since it was standard shipping. I guess I shouldn't expect it until next Friday Argh!
Too bad we didnt know about the free express shipping code sooner (

Same here. Also in Canada. I wouldn't be surprised if both boxes showed up together though, as they don't send a tracking number for standard shipping, until it's at my door lol. I'm frustrated that they switched to fedex for all of their shipments though. Fedex won't leave it at my door, unless I leave a note. I have to go pick it up that night if I'm not home. UPS leaves the packages for me.

I'm in Oregon and one order's coming Thursday, my others are coming on Friday next week. Agghhh so far away! We do have two business day Holidays in between, though, so nothing will be filtering through postage on those days.

Still seems like a long time to wait lol.

I wore Party Parrot and Poised blush today. I really like Poised, more than I thought I would! It swatches kind of rusty, but on my cheeks it's like a rosy apricot.

Pink Pigeon is not as bright/neon as the original CYY. I find Pink Pigeon way more wearable, especially for WOC. Iv'e only wore CYY 1-2 times, whereas Pink Pigeon has gotten way more love. So for that alone, I'd definitely say I'd grab PP if you can. HTH

I was live chatting with them, they said they won't be restocking, which sucks!

They always say that. I livechatted with them about Marilyn, and they told me they wouldn't restock and they restocked at least twice!

I received my package today, and I'm pretty much in love with everything I picked up. I made the mistake of using Strong Woman right out of the box though, forgetting about the fact that it had just come in from the frigid conditions outside and....it snapped in half, lol. FML.

I wish that I'd gotten a backup of Absolute Power.

I have Charmed, I'm Sure so I didn't think it would make a difference, but AP looks subtly better on me and now I'm kicking myself. Here's hoping for a restock at a reasonable hour!

Also, Hot Chocolate and Apres Chic from AC are gorgeous. I need backups of both NOW.

I did all the pics with my phone so they aren't the bes. In person inner strength looks kind of like a lighter version of all woman.

You don't get any extra charges from FedEx do you? Last few times I got packages from some other companies through them I got 25$ bill !! Which is annoying cause I didn't choose to have FedEx, I'd rather have it go through Canada post if that's gonna be the case every time
