Disappointed that Taupe Shape is shimmery. If it were matte, it'd have been an excellent contour colour, I think.

Your sales girl is misinformed. From what I've been able to tell, you've never been allowed to B2M for a limited edition lippie (or, for that matter, a Viva Glam one). Permanent ones only.

Lets hope they do, I will bu PP if they do, i have mine from Iris Apfel, put on again tonight, and decided I need to bu! It's so nice to chat with people who are as obsessed with make up as I am!

. I was told that you can B2M for LE items that are not in speciality packaging. There does seem to be disparity in how policies are followed, between locations.

I did B2M yesterday at my MAC store for Strength lippies. There was some confusion with the first MA I asked, but she asked the manager who said as long as it's not special packaging or Viva Glam, it's accepted.

Shocker! She dislikes yet another collection! I like her swatches (now that she's stopped stealing mine! ), but as for her opinion on collections, they're worthless.

Company policy is that you can B2M for ANY lipstick that is in the regular black bullet, perm or LE. The policy is written in each update book and states the only exceptions are VG, non-standard formulas (sheen supreme, PLW, PLWLC) and special packaging. If LE were allowed, they wouldnt have made the special packaging exclusion, as all special packaging is LE. Not all locations follow this policy, however. They make up their own rules as they feel like it. Again, you CAN B2M for LE lipsticks (and shadows and glosses in the extended B2'M program at stores), as long as they're in the regular packaging. In the 6+ years i worked for mac, we were never once told LE didn't count. Besides, my sister just recycled for 4 lipsticks from this collection.

I do have some 'CC certified' purples and browns but didn't even consider them with Party Parrot. Perhaps it's back to color matching 101 for me! I have Currant,Mahogany, Burgundy, Magenta, Bittersweet, Cork, Chestnut, Beet & More to Love. I will be playing a lot to avoid the dreaded clown factor---so not pretty. I will be looking into some of your other lip pencil recommendations.

Even between team members. I did a B2M today for SW and the cashier told me I couldn't. I told her yes the freak I can unless its in special packaging. I got it in the end but its annoying when everyone is not informed of the policies

I almost got Absolute Power but after reading that it had pink undertones I passed, more money for Archie's. I tried Firm Form in the store today because I hadn't received my package from the Pro store yet and I LOVE it but I don't think I could finish 2 tubes of it. CartoonChick thanks for the NYX liners, I'm going to Ulta to pick some up.

I got pink pigeon and party parrot from the iris collection and I had to bu party parrot but did not feel the need to backup pink pigeon. Party parrot is just gorgeous
