MAC Strength Collection Discussion (December 2012)

If any of you girls live in Glendale, California, or near, the Glendale galleria's mac store has all of the lipsticks, I went 3 hours ago they have everything Super surprising considering Everytime I go for collections within hours they sell out At least for collections I've gone for

Has anyonel else here been told by their MAC freestanding store that this won't release until Jan 3rd? Looks like most people who've gone to stores have been able to purchase. I've called mine twice and been told not 'til. 1/3 both times! Arrrgh.

It looks like your store didn't get the update with the new release date.

Okay ladies so I ordered Firm Form, Strong Woman, and Pink Pigeon... I skipped Party Parrot bc I bought it last Jan and I still haven't worn it :shock: lol I hope I love these colors!! I swear in 2013 I'm not buying any SIMILAR looking colors... For example... I already own NARS Schiap, Girl About Town, Candy Yum Yum, A N D Dear Diary so Pink Pigeon would be left in the dust lol...and I know I can justify it bc they all have their differences but honestly can u really tell the difference on the lips?...for like 2 of them u can't...

Under normal circumstances I wouldn't look twice at these quads but I'm on a neutral eye kick lately (a gal needs to balance out 'em eye searing lippies!

) and I'm happy I'm getting both.

My local Mac stores here in NYC released the collections on Wed, the 26th. Both Strength and Apres Chic

Seeing all these posts makes me want to go spend all my $$ on all these beautiful lippies!!! I don't have a store nearby... Closest MAC store is in Tyson's Corner(near DC).... 1.5 hours away. MAC has one hell of a marketing strategy cuz I'm actually considering making that drive today. Smh. And reading about all of your purchases doesn't make it ANY easier. Ughhhhh!

@rbeezie you don't have to drive that far. It's easier to call a MAC freestanding store in any state and they will deliver it to you. Only difference between ordering on maccosmetics.com and phoning in your order is $7 shipping fee which is less expensive than the long drive. Happy hauling!
