OK - the Coup de Foudre quad.......

. I did a look today that used all of the colors - not something I typically do, but the colors blend so seamlessly together that it is just a gorgeous combination! Next time I will use a transparent primer (I used something too 'bright' this time, but it still looks good!), but I used the darkest slate color in the crease and blended it up, the olive color on the outer 1/3 of my eye, the lightest green on the middle 1/3, and I just barely touched the coral color to the inner 1/3. I used MAC Creamy Bisque to highlight and on the inner corner......and the olive color to line my lower lashes. I absolutely LOVE this quad!! And I'm not a green shadow person.

I highly recommend it!!

Seriously cannot wait to get my paws on this. I am a green shadow lover (although they aren't necessarily supposed to work on blue eyes), plus I love coral shades around the eyes. I can't wait to try it out!!

The texture is amazing, and the colors blend effortlessly. The lightest green was a very nice surprise to me - it really brightens the eye. And the coral shade is crazy pigmented - it's just beautiful. A winner of a quad - and a great follow-up to Turnadott. For some reason the purple one didn't appeal to me at all - I didn't even swatch it.

I'm not a green shadow lover, I shall see if CdF calls to me. It will not launch at my counters until February. elegant - I agree she looks like a model. I always wanted to have the haircut, but it will never work with my ears. Winthrop - You have no problems with Turandot being too warm? I'm afraid it will give me the tired look.

Ok, so I love the ballz! I know some do not. But I crushed a silver and it made my extra shimmery. They are pinkish matte if no silver is used. I like 3 shades in the purple quad, the other is too much for me. Wound up with 2 of the purples quads and need the green now.
I love the mascara! I got it in Violet and it is very very pigmented and pretty and lightweight and nice for the mu bag. The glosses are gorgeous!

Hmmm.....maybe I should check out the purple mascara - it really brings out the green in my hazel eyes.....

I have decided, with much forethought, that I am going to get the Wulong compact as an early b/d present to myself......yikes, I've never forked over that much for a makeup item.....and I should wait until the refill is available, but if it is not, I'd probably regret it. I found one at my local Nordies and purchased it over the phone, sight unseen. I'm picking it up tomorrow.......I don't know whether to be excited or to cry......

.....while I'm there I'm going to check out last year's to see if it would suit my (cooler/neutral) skin tone better, but at least that one has the refill available now (I actually prefer last year's compact to this year's - I'm a sucker for silver).

I've managed to order a back up for my Wulong voyage powder with 50% off as well as the shimmer spray from Escentual the other day. Hopefully I'll get it tomorrow.

Does anyone know when the spring collection is coming out in the UK/Europe?

I haven't read or heard when the collection will be in EU - will keep an eye out. How do you end up getting a 50% off coupon? That's awesome!

I didn't. Guerlain always goes for sale after Christmas here, and it's all 50%. The only thing I didn't see in the sale was the Turandot palette, evidently it was the most popular item in the collection.

Oh you just had to say that didn't you. I will definitely have to check this out for my hazel eyes.

The Wulong compact is still lingering in my dreams. The price smacks me awake though. If only I could justify the cost to myself. I can't wait to hear what you think of each one.

I'm still kind of reeling from the fact that I bought it - at my age, I'm all for 'blurring the lines' and improving the look of my skin. I have good skin in general, but love a little makeup 'help'. I have high hopes for it - if it doesn't do all it's promised to do, back it will go. In a way I'm hoping that Nordies doesn't have last year's version.....I don't want to be tempted with that one (I read somewhere that it might be better for cooler skin tones).

I will definitely keep you posted!!

There wasn't a voyage powder in last year's (2011) holiday collection. There were Meteorites and a highlighter but no voyage powder.

I got the refill of the LE Voyage 01 Mythic - at least I thought the compact was LE (maybe not from 2011?)....also brought home my Wulong....oh my, it is just BEAUTIFUL!!

The compact is pure luxury, and the powder is phenomenal. The SA told me that someone had wanted it but changed their mind....I was very lucky to find it there. Of course, she wasn't too happy that I purchased it over the phone yesterday with a Chanel SA.....I felt bad, but what can you do?

I also got the purple mascara.......really a pretty shade! But I got totally grossed out when the SA took the tester and applied it to her own lashes with the tester wand!!! EWWWWW!!!! I had just put it on my hand to see the color, and heaven knows what other yuck was on it......

I saw the SA from the Benefit counter apply lipstick to her lips directly from the tester at the Lancome counter (Benefit lipsticks aren't good enough for her?) in my local department store the other day. Now that's gross, lol!

I believe the Mythic powder is form 2010. I don't think the compact was LE, it was the revamped version of the old Mythic, but as far as I know it's permanent.

I ended up caving and purchasing the green quad and ballade from Nordstroms. That New Years resolution didn't last long did it? LOL

But I am back on the no new makeup bandwagon for a little while. I need to use up some of my stash before it takes over the bathroom. Plus I have all of these great products that are being neglected from prior collections.

Thanks Anitacska! I'm not that 'up' on the Guerlain 'collectible' collections - just started getting into the Meteorites last year. I appreciate the info! That is gross about the SA and the Lancome lipstick - sounds like she didn't even rinse it in alcohol first......what are these people thinking?!

Haven, I'm in the same boat.....except I WILL have that EL Tease blush!

It's a slippery slope, I can tell you, lol. I first got into Guerlain in 2008 when the holiday collection with the butterflies came out and since then I have been following every launch and managed to get most of the old LE Voyage Powders and Meteorites. I think I have all the VPs in fact, but I'm still missing a few very old Meteorites. I suspect I won't ever be able to get those now, but never mind. There's a lady on MUA who has all of them and she has loads of gorgeous pictures, if you're interested, check them out: http://www.makeupalley.com/account/picsearch.asp/u=CarolineSwing/ I also have some pictures on my blog, the link is in my signature. :)
