I thought I'd love it; I really liked how it looked on Christine at T and I'm just a bit lighter than she is. I have a lot of neutrals (Douceur, The Perfect Cheek, Blushbaby and Prism) and bronzy orange type shades (Warm Soul, Fresh Honey, Torrid, Liberté, Melba, Peachykeen, etc) that I love and wear a lot and it looked like Poised was almost be a hybrid between them - a warm bronzy-orange neutral. It's not - at least on me. It just looks dirty on me. It's not flattering at all. It's not that it's too warm for me - I'm not sure what's wrong with it. I just don't like it. I would try before buying if you can. I waited to try Alpine Bronze in person because I wasn't sure about that one but I thought Poised was a safe bet.

Poised has some brown undertones, which easily turns muddy. I pair mine with Goldstone, otherwise I couldnt wear it.

I can make it work with Stereo Rose, but I don't want to keep a colour that I have to alter to wear; I have plenty of blush and bronzers that look good on their own that I can still pair with a SR or Light Year to add a sheen.

I applied it with a really light hand and have tried it with and without foundation, BB cream (love that BTW) and FM. It's just off on me. I'm surprised a brown tone isn't more flattering; I can and do wear brown eyeshadows and 90s type lippies. Oh well.

Pour une fois que je peux poster en français ! Joli maquillage, très beau RAL. Ici Strength sort en février, Absolute Power est sur ma liste. J'ai bien aimé les swatches sur ton blog, ayant les 2 de la collec. Marilyn, celui-ci est bien différent.

FINALLY got my lipsticks today. And im so so so so so glad i thought to get a bu of party parrot. This color is amazing! So electric and bright. Also i like pink pigeon better than candy yum yum i got from by request. Even though its a darker pink. Its much more glowing and bright on!

I think I might break down and snag a Nightmoth liner next time I'm at work. I really want to see if it helps FF stay on longer, plus I can use it for Prince Noir as well.

I think the MAC store on Collins still has the blush you're looking for. Since they moved the Pro store to Lincoln Rd most people have forgotten that the store on Collins exists. I was able to get Party Parrot there after most places had sold out. Give them a call. If you find it I'm sure you can just run in and pick it up instead of having it shipped.

O.k. Finally get my first order and guess what my Bu of party parrot is broken from the bottom. Had to hurry and call mac and she said they will try to locate one and send it. I hope they can find one. O.k. My faves are hot chocolate,cozy up and warm companion. Do not have apres chic yet,my second order is coming tomorrow. Firm form do not like heavily swatched,not sure if it is a color I will wear at all. Absolute power is a amazing red but not sure if I need a backup so if someone wants to swap the swatched one for hot chocolate or get a BNIB one,if it arrives safely tomorrow let me know. I will be returning the backup. Strong woman very nice purple but heroine is Defintely more nicer on me. Stereo rose finally came but what is the hype of this? Did not get it at all. It is nice but too frosty and does make my pores look larger. I would love to get alpine bronze and maybe a lip balm but still need more swatches. I guess since orders are finally showing up maybe I will get more.

I got my Pink Pigeon in the mail. I love it more than CYY! Looks more flattering on my complexion. I'm so happy I got 3 of it. It would probably last me until MAC decides to repromote it and then I will continue getting back ups of it.

I think that PiPi is probably more wearable than CYY for a lot of people. although I felt I had shades close to it already, it is beautiful. Hope you enjoy it!

Sweet haul!!! Try that store again and have it shipped or try another fee-standing store and have it shipped. I think they must have experienced a situation in which they held items for many people and they never showed to retrieve them. I don't know that it's ever been a problem when they know you from frequent purchases and/or visits. I really hope you find Pink Pigeon!!!

HEY!!! Medgal so, finally today I took your advice and I called the pro store in Green Hills aka Nashville!!! They had both PiPi and PaPa in stock and the manager said he re-ordered more!!! He also, said "they had sold out so fast during Iris Apfel that, MAC sent him a lot this go round"

They will replace unless it is out of stock and they cannot get it. Then you can exchange it for a different lipstick they do have in stock or get a refund.

So I finally tried on Party Parrot today, I actually really like it! I had a moment of panic when I first tried it on, it was just super bright and I wasn't sure how flattering it was, but after a few minutes I decided that I really like it, even if I normally pass on these ultra bright warm coral-y colors.

From this collection I ended up with Party Parrot, Strong Woman, and Firm Form (I already have PiPi), and I really like them all & actually feel really good about everything! I was super tempted by Absolute Power but ultimately decided to pass on it for Ronnie Red, and I'm not regretting the decision yet so horrah, this collection ended up not being too bad at all

Yes, they do replace it. Call the customer service line and they will replace it with a new one.They may ask you to return it back to them, or you can keep it
