just left my mac store and signed up for the event on feb 8! usually my store had events AFTER the collection is out so maybe it will launch the 7th?

Generally on tuesday (at the latest) the week before. Sometimes as early as late late sunday night.

Betty's It Kit --- blush in cream soda, lipstick in Betty bright and pigment in lucky in love

Veronica's It Kit -- lipstick in Ronnie Red, pigment in magic spells (blackened teal) and eye shadow quad in spoiled rich rich purple -- she also mentions a "not shy berry blush"

If popular coveted items in this collection is in 'kits', or sets then I foresee a big obstacle for me. Say it ain't so, pls, pls. I don't want to purchase an expensive kit to get one or two items that suits me

I don't think it's sold as a kit. I think they are just labeling it like that to get Betty's or Veronica's look. at leaf I hope cuz I don't want everything for either one. I want a lil ( ok A LOT) from both and hope to hear an official color story and release date soon!!

they probably mean sets as displays. do you get what i mean? like veronicas set is whats on her display but everything is sold separately.
at least i hope thats the case.

im getting 1 veronica lipstick and 1 betty lipstick for my lipstick collection adn that is it. I honestly dont need any more lipsticks lol as for the eyeshadows i have soooo much adn i dont even touch them so i need to focus on that. i might get the pearl powder also

That would be interesting - offering the colors individually as well as grouped in little makeup kits with a bag/mirror or the like. It does seem a little odd to offer a quad as part of a kit, though.
