MAC Fashion Sets 2013 Collection (April 2013)

I'm a total 'Embrace Me' slut so I'll wind up getting a b/u lip pencil, the lipglass and the lipstick. I have Heroine and while I like it, it's not a must backup for me.

silly reminded me a lot of impassioned but with a touch more pink and more of a cremesheen finish to it
ablaze was nice it was kinda vegas volty to me :/

shadows i wasnt impressed heroine was chalky and hard to blend the lipglass was nice gave okay color pay off

I love the sound of a cremesheen version of Impassioned =) def getting the lipstick and the lipliner!! probably the gloss too =)
That sux to hear about the shadows tho =( i was goin to skip the veronica quad and get stars n rockets and vibrant grape and this heroine instead. Now i am not sure if i will like this one or not.

I havent tried Vegas Volt i like it on other people but dont know if i can wear this color, so we will see about the Ablaze items. Def pass on all the other eyeshadows, no pink eyeshadow for me thanks.

i actually was so so about this collection embrace me lipstick was the only color that stood out everything else was ok. i wasn't that impressed with heroine lip pencil either with one swipe it looks like magenta it took about 3 wipes to get the color to look close to the lipstick color

i may be getting two of the Embrace me lipsticks!! I have magenta already, so i will see how it compares on myself , i really wanted a dark purple lipliner tho!!

Did you actually see Silly and Ablaze lipsticks?
If they're similar to impassioned and Vegas volt, I'll pass cuz they're not my favorites.

I'm perfectly set with pink lipsticks for a while, so I'd skip Embrace Me and Silly for sure. The lipglasses are a different matter entirely though. I'd also like to try those two colors in the eyeshadows. Frosts and satins usually treat me well. Swatches are certainly a must before I get any of them though.

I'm so glad I'll be able to get my hands on Heroine! Perfect purple! That's the only one I've got in mind at the moment, not sure about the rest since I'm pretty new to MAC products.

Thank goodness I only want 2 Heroines from this cause my ED and BB wishlists are insane! I'll get the liner as long as it's not like Magenta liner,which I already have.

I kinda expect the liner to be a darker more purple Magenta, since I can use Magenta for Heroine as a liner too. It just makes it a touch more pinky and that's why I need a liner that's a bit more purple.

I went to MAC S/S VIP presentation and found out this collection will come out on Feb 1st, not in the middle of Feb.
I didn't see testers today, but Feb 1st is just around the corner! I'll post some swatches after I get some lipsticks.

So I finally got my Pink Pigeon (And Party Parrot

) today!!
And I swatched it above Embrace Me



I also swatched Hollywood Nights again underneath Embrace Me just for reference!


So as you can see, neither is an EXACT dupe of it!
Which for me makes me want it for sure, I'm a lover of matte hot pinks and I'm now hoping that the lipstick matches the liner!!
