Good thing I just got a new job with higher pay because this haul is gonna put a dent in my bank account...

Congrats on your new job and WOOT on your impending haul. At least you know what you want. I'm all over the map. I have collected hearts & heart-shaped items forever--this could get ugly.

Hm. The more I see pictures of the Betty quad, the more I think I see dupes of perm e/s I already have like da bling, ricepaper/nylon, wedge/cork, espresso. I might skip them altogether.

Back to topic... I'm skipping the quads and getting the UD Oz palettes instead. I still have about 8 items on my list though... 10 if I end up getting Betty's piggies.

Just daddy's little girl and betty bright for Me. The quads are dupable and the blushes don't look like they'll work on my skin tone. More $ for ED collection I guess.

Don't know if anyone has seen these yet but I'm sold on the pink lippies and probably the red and Betty bright

That's the reason why I buy quads

I have been diametrically opposed to quads--I was healed of that senseless malady--right here on Specktra. I have purchased at least 10 quads within the past 3 months. I enjoy the convenience of having the colors together in one spot, versus having to route through 11 MAC Pro Palettes. I have found a way to store them, which was one of my lame excuses for not purchasing them. Now I just love them. I still give my palettes and other individual eye shadows as much love as possible, but when I don't want the hassle, and when what little creative juices I have just aren't flowing---boy is it nice to reach for a pretty little palette---and just have at it!

Okay, so here's the report on FoF by itself: I don't agree that it comes out patchy at all. I mean, it's not a color you can just slap on and run. You definitely need to take the extra 5-10 seconds to smooth it out with the applicator. But you can definitely get an even application with it, and it looks fab! Get it, girl!!!
