I bought the Rouge Allure Velvet in La Favorite from my counter today, it's my first Chanel lipstick! Haven't cracked it open yet but I tested it in store and it's beautiful. I was tempted to get L'Eclatante as well but I fear it's a bit too pink for me (ginger hair, green eyes, fair neutral skin) so I'm going to hold off on that one. I was this close to getting Beryl too but I thought I'd wait for some more reviews to crop up, tried to find something similar in Superdrug but the best they had was an MUA eyeliner which wasn't much of a dupe. Tempted to get Frivole and two nail polishes but they only had Accessoire.
Aw, we both bought our first Chanel lipstick on the same day! I bought my first one three yesterday: Rouge Coco in Mademoiselle, Rouge Coco in Chalys, and Rouge Allure in Seduisante. Chalys in particular is so incredibly beautiful! I don't have another color quite like it. I think I'm in love! Tempted to get a few more shades, but since I just bought these, I think I need to use them a bit before diving in and spending another $34 per lippie

Elegant--I have tried so many products on hy nails. My current routine is every night before bed I massage very thick cuticle balm all over from nail tip to past nail bed. I let that absorb a bit then I massage in argan oil all over my hands and then a thick layer of L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream and massage until well absorbed. Then cotton gloves and off to bed. Sometimes I cut my heating pad on low and lay it over my hands for a little while. I don't keep the gloves on all night. After a while they bug me so I take them off and lay on my nightstand. This routine does seem to be helping especailly at making my hands super soft. When I get up in the morning my hands feel like silk. I try to apply hand cream throughout the day, when I remember. I'm hoping to also delay the signs of aging on my hands. I reapply sunscreen when I'm out paying extra attention to the tops of my hands.

I also use either Butter London Horse Power or Zoya Armor to strengthen my nails. I'm not always super good at keeping up this. But the bedtime thing is a priority with me.

I want to play with the Hourglass powders in person. I like their e/s and primer. The primer plays well with my skin and at times it doesn't. But so far its the best I've found for my oily skin.

Shadow, I do something very similar at night, but hadn't thought about the heating pad - I too cannot wear gloves (or socks) the whole night - drives me nuts. The hardest thing for me is during the day - I wash my hands ALL the time, and don't always remember to put lotion back on. Or when I do, 10 minutes later I'm having to wash my hands again....it's a never-ending cycle. I too am more religious about it at bedtime.

I'm hoping that my vitamin supplements will help as well - I've had a bad problem with peeling of my thumb and pointer nails on both hands....not sure why - this has never been an issue before....the other nails are fine. I chalk it up mostly to the fact that those nails are most susceptible to abuse ;).

I also love Butter London Holiday Handbag cuticle oil - I keep it in my purse. It smells divine!

I hate my hands feeling dry. It is hard during the day when you're washing your hands so many times.

The argan oil I use is by Sheaterra Organics. I read a ton of reviews before ordering. I also watched a couple of videos comparing this to Jose Maran's (which is more than twice the price) and another brand which I can't recall. One of the ladies used the three over several weeks and said she found very little if any difference in the Sheaterra and Jose Maran. There is always a 30% coupon you can find by a quick search or sign up for their emails. I like the 2 oz which has a pump. It also comes in a 4oz with a dropper that comes out a bit cheaper. It takes so little it last forever, such a great buy. I use it on my neck, under my eyes and crows feet area as well at night. I go ahead and go apply right up to my lower lash line as close as I can get without getting it in my eyes. I do it about 30 min to an hour before bed so it has totally without question absorbed so I won't rub it into my eyes.

I should probably buy it by the quart:) I've started using it on my elbows and knees. They get so dry in the winter.

I also ordered from them bottle of Tamanu Oil because I have read so many good reviews about it helping oily acne prone skin. I wasn't sure what to expect but I have to say I'm impressed. It has an odd smell, not super strong. So I put a little moisturizer in my hand and about three drops of this and mix and that takes care of it. But I am very sensitive to smells. I use this at night. After it absorbs my skin feels really soft and not at all oily or sticky.

There are several items I want to try, such as their pedicure masque and volcanic pedicure scrub. I am such a product junkie.

My favourite is Body Shop's Hemp Hand Protector. I love it because it's not at all sticky so you can use it during the day without worrying about leaving sticky fingerprints everywhere. And it's super effective. They also have a Hemp Intensive Hand Butter, which is great for nighttime use (cotton gloves recommended

My vote goes to Lush's Helping Hands, though I love both the BS hemp and L'Occitane one. I gave the BS hemp one to my mum and she claims that it's much better than the 60€ Estee Lauder Re-Nutriv hand cream I got her!

I use the argan oil too! I've been using my moisturizer on the backs of my hands at night too. Like the rest of you, I wash my hands constantly so it seems like a losing battle.
I will try your other suggestions.

It just sucks turning into an old bag & everything just dries out

Have you tried the Crème Abricot from Dior, very good for the cuticules and nails. It's very thick though ( but effective ); Scrub your hands with a gentle product ( L'Occitane gommage ultra riche originally for the face but it works on the hands as well ), and good handcreams if we wash our hands all the time, well looks like a losing battle yes, l'Occitane, Korres, La Roche-Posay Xerial can help ( in my own experience ) !

Hi ladies! I finally got my hands on the highlighter and Frivole blush! I couldn't believe how amazing the highlighter was, you ladies were right.... well worth the price. I really love the blush as well, such a pretty apricot colour. Unfortunately they were sold out of the eyeliner Beryl I wanted.... Thanks for the recommendation! As a side note, has anyone tried the Chanel concealers? I have pink undereyes I try to hide. Are the concealers good?

I LOVE the Chanel concealer. I had a favorite drug store one that was waterproof & I loved it so much that I was on the hunt forever trying to find a concealer that I loved equally as well. After buying & trying almost every concealer (even $$$ one) I bought the Chanel one & its perfect. On me its long lasting, has enough coverage, looks natural & is eye brightening/enhancing.

Glad you loved the highlighter & blush!

Finally saw the collection and came home with the quad, I really, really like the recent Euro quads, especially the finish of the satiny eyeshadows  The highlighter is a work of art, but was way too gold on me, so I skipped it. The blush was already gone, but I was not interested in that one either. Is everyone loving the pink RAV? Is it worth getting?

^^ Enjoy the quad! All the colours are very smooth and pigmented! I'm still taking my time to pick it up. I didn't buy the pink RAV. Do you like warm pinks? It is a yellow pink, very feminine but gives a nice pop of colour.

The Quad is really gorgeous, let me know when you get it. Looked at the lipstick again today and it looked so light?! Not sure if it will work with my pigmented lips. Did you get it? Cannot remember any more if you did.

I know many like it but i could not do any hemp product. They all ended up in a trash can. Smell was terrible

Hi MissQQ :) do you think you will end up getting the quad? I haven't gotten the pink RAV yet. The color looks gorgeous. I was afraid it would dry my lips out a little, but I think I read that it is more moisturizing than some of the other velvets??
