I'm still here too! Hopefully I can make it. The early morning releases are hard for those of us on the West Coast! I always prefer a midnight east coast release...then I'm all done by 9pm!

A few years back, MAC was just more predictable with their online releases.

i want to kno why T has pics of the nail polishes with betty and veronica on them when everyne has posted pics with no images on the bottles. I am really trying to narrow down my list and i only plan on getting them if they have the characters. does anyone have any thoughts about this? Maybe they are just pics of samples and the actual polishes will be decorated?

I was in WA when this released and I was able to get CYY and Moxie after I came home from a fishing trip 8:30 pm, pushing the speed limit all the way home. I'm pretty sure it wasn't released in the morning.

Although... it might have been the eyeshadow or the lipglass release (week by week after) which I didn't stay up for.

The lipsticks were at night, but I think the eye shadows or lipglasses were in the morning? Man...remember *that* craziness?! All those different release dates! All that endless ENDLESS site stalking!...It gives me anxiety to even think about it again!

the np'S at macys had the faces on the btls, but not at my mac store...weird. still no pearlmattes either at either place

That was indeed CRAZY! People really adapted and stepped up online stalking after that!

I have a small list as well. I'm planning on Ronnie Red l/s and Strawberry Malt l/g. Surprisingly, no cheek stuff. Hope I'll stay strong. I want to save some money for the upcoming collections. :cheer: I would buy the pigment if I really love the color, I don't have anything similar already, and I know I would wear it often. They don't go bad so fast, do they? Sorry, I'm not helping much. :lol:

no they dont go bad, of course cosmetics need to be stored in a climate controlled, dry area away from heat and direct sunlight. i have pigments that are ten +yrs old. try not to store cosmetics in the bathroom if possible, due to the moisture content etc. thats what i do anyway. im a germophobe and use sample wands for my lipglass and glosses to prevent contamination. if you dont do this id say throw the gloss out after a year, two tops. if lipsticks take on the crayon scent they turned and its at your discretion to toss it. and liquid eye product is the same, including ,mascara. liquid liners etc. you dont want to keep mascara over a couple months. unless you use the disposable wands. i have blushes that are a decade old they still work great so why discard them.

I specifically remember stalking for by request. I was up until almost 2sm before I went to bed. I left my alarm on even tho I didn't have to work (I used to start at 6am). I woke up at 5 am and they were up my bf woke up and asked wth I was doing lol. Marilyn was also released at 430 am west coast time.

i have blushes that are a decade old they still work great so why discard them.

Another tip with piggies is to refill a small amount in a smaller jar. I use MAC's travel jars.

I am - well, I was - pretty sure that the n/p had the girls on them when I swatched them at my MS. Now, I am confused again.

Gracious. Take a month or so off, and come back to almost 120 pages here.

I'm excited for this collection, but really unsure about my final tentative list. The only things I definitely know I want at this point are DLG lipstick, Mall Madness lg, and Veronica's pearlmatte.

Most of the rest, I'm unsure on. I know I don't want the Betty quad (too warm), the Veronica pigments, the Veronica blush (that type of pink gives me some kind of allergic reaction), or Oh, Oh, Oh (already have 3 BUs from Mac Me Over!

).


Betty Bright is pretty, but I don't know if that's right for me. I have Watch Me Simmer and Force of Love, and I despise both of them on their own without lipgloss in another shade to alter it. Should I skip BB then?

I sent out a bpal yesterday with some gum and twizzlers, per request, and it cost me $20 which is kinda like what I charged the gal for the perfume. I was like ACK!

If you are allergic to that sort of pigment, I might be a little weary of the Pearlmatte. The hearts in the pearlmatte are blush and the pigments may be similar. (Even though the hearts in Veronica's pearlmatte seem more red than pink)

I only mention this because you said you haven't been following the collection that closely and wanted to make sure you were aware of this!
