i hate when they leave the package in front door. i just lost a package last week worth over $350, they were mac brushes and lipglosses. i have no idea where it went. you got to be careful when you are expecting your packages...

That's so messed up I wish Mac would make certain price packages signature required to protect people!!! I hope you get your items or at least your money back

I'd say it is impossible to swatch them and capture the glow in a photograph. A heavy swatch is not how the product will look blended and buffed into the skin. A light swatch will not be noticeable in a photograph. Therefore, similar to last year, my guess is that there will not be a lot of swatches of the p/m.

They have a barely-there pigmentation, which turns a lot of people off. Personally, however, I like the glow I get on my fair skin with the p/m.

And yes, they last for a very long time. The texture is very hard and not powdery at all. So even if you use it daily, it might last you a few years. HTH

I heard it in a movie and it always cracks me up. Clay Pigeons with Vince Vaughn. I watch a lot of movies and TV, so this stuff is seared into my brain.
Please tell me what you think of Shell Pearl when you get it. I'm undecided about it. I think it may be too light and I can't swatch it before buying.

Well, UPS sent a shipping notice for one package, due for delivery tomorrow. It was my second order. Now, I just need shipping notice for the first order, which happens to be the items I want the most!

I received my shipping notice this morning around 8am EST. I used standard shipping and my delivery is scheduled for Monday. For those who made multiple orders and are concerned that their first/biggest/most wanted order hasn't shipped yet, don't worry. I frequently place multiple orders and they always seem to process the last or smallest one first. I'm not sure why. All of my orders do get processed with no issues. I don't think it means that there's anything wrong.

• 184 Brush - It's been listed as out of stock forever. I ordered it anyway so it'll ship as soon as they get more in stock.

That's it! I'll see if I want BUs after they arrive. I'm making more of an effort to control my stash and my spending. I'll check out everything else in person.

Thanks Mac-guy. The swatches on Karen's blog look so chalky (esp. Flatter me). I've used Chanel Poudre Douce, which sound like a similar idea (glowy, sheer, and barely-there color). I'm test driving Hourglass' Ambient Powder too. Maybe I'll take a chance on these. I have the feeling once more reviews are posted these will be sold out.

Way to go CC on spending control--I'll need the name of that drug! I ordered the 184 weeks ago. My experience with MAC back-orders is that you totally forget you ordered it, and then one day it just appears--always a nice surprise!

I got a call from my local MAC this morning to confirm that I'm coming to the event on Tuesday. I hope I don't add things to my preorder, but there's one item that I'm almost certain I'll remove.
