I talked my sister into getting me the Alex 9-drawer from IKEA for my birthday, and nearly 6 weeks early, too! Going to pick that up on Monday.

I've had my Alex for over a year now and I LOVE it! I would get another one if I lived closer. I don't live near an IKEA (closest one is 8 hours), but my friend was lucky enough to get one for me since she lives 5 minutes from one. Bless her heart!

My list has grown so much with all the beautiful swatches! I now want the Ronnie quad, Ronnie Red, Betty Bright, Daddy's Little Girl, Mall Madness, and Strawberry Malt. Thank goodness that the quads and lipglasses don't go as fast; I can wait a paycheck on those.

Good morning, everyone! I just received my shipping notice from MAC. All four lippies are on their way to me. Come to Mama babies! I should be receiving them next Monday or Tuesday. Cannot wait.

I'm so sad. I placed an online order the day of the launch, but it was using a visa debit...which they don't accept yet on the mac website. I got an email yesterday evening letting me know, but at that point customer service was already closed. And anyway a lot of items were sold out. I phoned them just now to give my card number, but I was told that she did not know the status of the stock, but I might not get my products if they're already sold out. So....that settles that, because my items were DLG, cream soda and ronnie red. All of which are sold out! It's a shame because on the US site, when you place an order, if there's a problem with the card it holds the stock for 48 hours. Apparently not the case for the canadian site. Canada loses out again! I guess there's a chance for the in-store release...but still I'm bummed out!

This sucks! I hope you are able to get your stuff in the store, I know how frustrating it is to have problems placing an order. They don't accept Visa debit cards on the Canadian site?

I tell you... I'm a heavy handed with blushes but this seems super pigmented on me that i barely swiped any on and then need to use another brush to blend it out a bit.
