Alright, I've made the executive decision to limit my purchase to two lipsticks, two glosses, and one blush, Prom Princess. That'll keep my purchase well below $100. The lipsticks shall be Betty Bright and either DLG or Boyfriend Stealer. The glosses shall be Kiss & Don't Tell and Mall Madness. Come on Thursday!

Does anyone know what's the fastest way to get payment cleared when ordering off mac website? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I've never had a problem using my Visa debit card to purchase from MAC. Is it because you're in Canada?

I don't have a Visa debit card, just a regular Visa Credit Card. Used my Visa CC with my Archie order.

I stopped by mac today after work and ended up pre-ordering more goodies. I got: Spoiled rich quad (so nice im real life!) Flatter Me PM (love it all over as a highlight/powder) DLG-yay! BB- looks like a lipstick version of benefit's fine11 So now All i have to do is wait untill monday to get my main order and friday to pick up my presale. Aghh! Hurry ups! :bump:

Hi everyone!! I can finally post!!! I don't know why but it just wouldn't let me for about 4 days. I've been reading and looking at all of your swatches for days now.. dying inside as I have no one to talk to about my MAC or makeup LOL

I have an appointment on February 7th at 10am at my MAC (they open at 10am) so I don't know what else I will purchase. I'm thinking I should have gotten the flatter me pearlmatte instead since I don't use a highlighter but I guess I will wait and see. I was drawn to the pretty pink hearts without thinking, LOL. They didn't have the pearlmattes when I went in for my sneak peek last week.

When the Marilyn Collection came out i called frantically since my order was pending for over 24 hours and they told me that they release the orders for overnight and 2 day first so those with regular shipping were processed last. I've paid with both my debit card and paypal on the 30th and both processed at same time

Ok. I caved , again. I really needed a hot pink blush. Nothing like I have, so why not. I then added the Mall madness and Betty's PM. I was only planning on getting one thing and came out with half of the dang collection! Hate when that happens lol

Finally placed my order: Veronicas Blush and Cream Soda. When I was about to hit submit I noticed I had Flatter Me instead of Veronicas Blush in my cart! Good thing I caught that. I like that Christine compared VB to Nars Angelika. I had that ages ago and had to get rid of it because the glitter was so bad. Maybe now I have my replacement.

I didn't post these with my other swatches because I wasn't crazy about the way they turned out...But as requested...BOYFRIEND STEALER!

Boyfriend stealer is on the left in both swatches, and Feelin' Good is on the right

This is artificial light because it was already dark by the time I got home. I can do some daylight swatches tomorrow (if we get any light in Seattle!)

This was the last lipstick I tried on, so my lips were pretty dry. I just want to say it looked really bad on the dry spots...kind of a blacky-brown...This definitely needs to be worn on lips that are nicely moisturized and exfoliated. I took a picture...but I can't bring myself to post it! Ha! Ha!

No, that was in the press release from MAC, so it was actually their information that said it. Even though people will try (as always) to claim that she stole it from somewhere.

Love it! I agree that the Alex is a lot sturdier than the helmers too imo. I have a few drawers that are filled with heavy nail polishes and candles and they are very sturdy even when pull almost all the way out. Here's my setup with the Alex units. lovely! please tell us where the white piece in the middle is from?

I agree. There's definitely a way to say things in a positive way. "This has sheerer, less pigmentation" vs "this has poor pigmentation". It's all about separating your personal tastes and preferences, and reviewing something so that everyone can envision it and decide for themselves.

I'm going to stalk Nordstrom's website also. I was DETERMINED to pass on this collection UNTIL more swatches of Daddy's Little Girl started appearing. I even tried to convince myself that I don't need it because I have Outrageously Fun BUT the MAC demon in my head has defeated me.
