I agree about the animal lovers thread...I am so in love with cats and dogs...All your puppies are so lovely..I'm also really sad about some of your loss.. I keep on thinking I don't know how will I survive without my cat Kiki T__T
This thread is gonna make me cry. So sorry to everyone who's lost an animal. I am a cat person and for the first time in my life lost my beautiful maine coon "Tosca" who was only 4 years old. All my other cats have lived to 16+++ She was a rescue cat with issues, loved her so much. Here's her picture. I have her half brother kitten though, otherwise I wouldn't have made it. Ernie I guess we hijacked the thread!

I'm so sorry to hear that.
Nova came into my life a couple months later. The day I went in to adopt her, they told me that her sister was just adopted a few hours earlier, named Nala. I'd like to think that my Nala guided me to find Nova.
maybe he wants to Check if the meds are helping? I have read that cats can survive for awhile if they start taking meds for it early enough. it sounds like it wasnt to late to start so hopefully ur kitty will show some improvement. even if he suggests it you don't have to do it, especially if she seems like she is not in pain or anything. keep us posted! hope she will be okAww this about pets is sad but nice. One of my cats who I've had since I was six has been diagnosed with kiney failure. We've been trying her on some meds for a week but bet wants to see her for a blood test, because she's still being sick. I'm worried he will suggest putting her down, because aside from being sick, she's still her happy purring loving self.
Awes. That's just how things work. I hope Nova's taking good care of you.^^Thank you everyone. I still miss her like crazy. Nova came into my life a couple months later. Tosca is Goooorgeeeous. I love Maine Coons. We adopted one years ago named Texas and somehow he got out one day and never returned. All we can hope for was that he was lovable enough that he found a new home. He had such a personality, as Maine coons usually do, so anyone who found him would have fallen head over heels. Sorry about your Tosca. I know how losing a Maine Coon can be a big loss, figuratively and literally. This thread is gonna make me cry. So sorry to everyone who's lost an animal. We call our two Fur Babies or Fur Children. My family pressures me to have children soon, but I tell them that I'm too happy with my kitties for the time being.Aaw, that gave me goosebumps! These sad stories of beautiful lovely cats passing away are really making me sad, but it's so lovely to hear how much they were all loved. I can't imagine my life without our 3, they are all very different, but very loveable and sweet all the same.
I'm sure the vet just wants to make sure your kitty isn't in pain and make sure the drugs are helping her. I have heard that cats will hide their pain from their owners so they don't worry.Aww this about pets is sad but nice. Gotta watch out or cats'll sleep on your makeup and shed hair all over it...No, I shouldn't get a cat.
I really shouldn't get a cat.
No way I should get a cat!
Sigh. I still want a cat!
