On the lighted vanity mirror issue - i need one!

But what i want to say is i remember when in theater dressing rooms they actually had at least 2 sets of lights - warm (yellow incandescent) lights and cool lights and you could switch between them, or have them all on.

Even for those of us not in the theater (nearly all of us, i suspect), different kinds of light still make a difference. Makeup that looks good in natural light, with its more balanced spectrum, may well not look the same under, for example, office fluorescent lights, which tend green.

I didn't know that. Thank you. What type of lights should you have?

hi all! sorry i couldn't keep up with you ladies. i've been really busy lately... i preorderd all the lipsticks, PMs,both blushes, mirror, and the lipglosses..i would have to go and pick them up on 7th.. i loved all your pictures, posts..they are all amzing..i was looking for more swatches and i came across this website that has both betty's and veronica's look..i though i'd share..excuse my english pleas( MY thrid language)

I don't know if you got a response to this dear. The Nars powder is a reflecting powder. It give the face a soft blurred 'photoshop' appearance, also reduces the appearance of large pores. It photographs better than other powders - not white ghosting cast. It causes your makeup to last a very very long time. Its really really a beautiful face powder. We have a thread on it where you can read everyones experience with it.

I know I'm new here but I still want it. I was upset to see both Macy's and Nordstrom go on sale yesterday thought I had hope Thursday morning (payday lol)

its the select sheer one. nothing special. . i need all those AWesome descriptions that you are giving to the nars one on my FACE!!! well at least the half haha i feel like the mac one makes me look flat.

Well, the simplest thing is sugar and olive oil - other oils work ok, too, but olive is good for your skin. Mix a little of each together, rub it on your lips with your fingers, then wipe off with a washcloth.

Because it's fun i have Mint JuLIPS Lip Scrub from LUSH, which is mostly sugar and jojoba oil with mint and vanilla (yum).

i was on to something! LOL

ohhh come on i bet you got better skin than me and take better care of it too. the msf natural breaks me out. im was extremely hesitant with trying mac foundations and powders so far the only thing i like is the Face&body Foundation. the powders not so much.

I'm in love with this collection! My faves Veronica's blush, boyfriend stealer & kiss &don't tell. Even though I love it all I'm the most surprised how those especially, worked well for me. Also got cream soda, prom princess, GND, SS & mall madness. The one i thought I'd like the best was mall madness & that's my least favorite, it's still really pretty though. Just my expectations were different. Can't wait to try the blushes out, they look beautiful! Not archies but I got nicki 2 l/s & l/g too love them too! Just waiting on one last package from Nordstroms....thanks to Specktra lol, I ordered BB, DLG & strawberry malt. I can't wait to try those too. It's so fun hearing what everyone got & how you all are liking everything!.
