MAC x Archie's Girls (Betty & Veronica) Collection Discussion (February 2013)

It's been great reading about, and seeing, everyones hauls.
This is a picture of me with Archie from the party here on Tuesday evening. I’m wearing Prom Princess blush and Ronnie Red lipstick. Even in this picture you can see how bright the lipstick is. It was a fun evening.
Prom Princess blush is very nice and very buildable. I found that if you apply it to heavy to begin with that it looks a little dirty. This colour reminds me of Overdyed blush from the Jeanius collection.
I tried only one Betty lipstick, Oh, Oh, Oh, but found it too sheer.
I tried on all the Veronica lipsticks. Daddy’s Little Girl was a little too “neon” for me, however it is a beautiful colour, and applied nicely.
Boyfriend Stealer went on very dark for me, very gothic. I tried it on with Nightmoth lip pencil, which is really close in colour. I think it would look really nice with Current lip pencil as well.
Ronnie Red is a very beautiful bright red, with some lovely pink undertones. It's a very buttery matte. It does stain the lips something fierce though. I used an oil remover yesterday and today, and a lip scrub today, and I still have a red ring around my lips. I think Cherry is the nicest lip pencil for this colour. Brick lip pencil is pretty close in colour too, as is Kiss Me Quick pro longwear lip pencil. Redd lip pencil I found a little too orange for the colour.

got my shipments notifications from Nordies yesterday
I placed 2 orders in 1 hour, got the shipping notifications in the same hour
but the funny thing is that the first package will arrive on Friday & the other will arrive in Monday -_- hope it will be rescheduled for early delivery lol
then I hope my freight forwarding service wont be late to ship my goodies.. I keep seeing pictures & swatches in Instagram & I can't wait!

I'm cracking up because I got a visual of you with your arms crossed, tapping your foot and smirking at me. My response---asked & answered! I love Flatter Me---as a highlighter. I refuse to mar or defile the hearts, so I swirl & swipe the compact. Yesterday, Veronica's Blush fell into my cart & is on it's way.

watching that video before i head to the store was one of the worst things i could have done. now, i suddenly feel i need those pigments and the caramel sundae quad.
i give up on selectivity with this collection. i'm going in there and doing whatever i want.

Hi Everyone! I rarely post, but I lurk almost everyday! I just wanted to share my look using the Spoiled Rich quad. I was really nervous because I ordered it before T's swatches and review came out. I must say I was pleasantly surprised! It definitely looks better on than judging on swatches alone. I'm also wearing Cream soda blush, and Flatter Me pearlmatte over and slightly above it to highlight. Sorry about the lighting, I was only able to take this picture after work today. I'm NC 40/42 for reference!
