so I went to Nordies and they had none of the veronica lipsticks! I had planned on getting Ronnie Red nd Boyfriend Stealer, but I guess it's not meant to be lol. I got me and my cuzn Girl next door, and i also got mall madness and kiss n don't tell lipglass Veronica's blush pm and lucky in love pigment. and the makeup bag from the Mac store. they didn't have any Veronica lipsticks either. I ended up getting VGN2 I love how it looks with different Lipliners! so I'm done unless BS and RR get restocked. maybe the SP quad if I find it once I get paid again lol cuz now I'm broke

My trip to Nordstrom this morning was very successful. I got there a few minutes after they opened. I'm not sure if I was the first one, but I didn't see anyone else when I got there. I got everything I needed for my CP. A woman came up while the MUA was getting my products together and asked about Boyfriend Stealer and Daddy's Little Girl. They haven't received their inventory for Boyfriend Stealer yet and Daddy's Little Girl Sold out. I got the last one. There's a MAC store at the same mall and she went there first, but they had already sold out of things. Keep in mind that the mall opens at 10am and it was 10:05am at this point. Neither the Nordstrom or the MAC store did preorders, so stuff must have sold out insanely fast. Only a few other people came in to buy stuff while I was still there, and I heard MUAs taking store orders over the phone. Everything was pretty relaxed. I'm sure the frenzy picked up after I left.

I swatched some things for myself while the MUA was getting the items from my CP list. I tried Flatter Me Pearlmatte and it is pretty, but I didn't feel the urge to buy it. It was just "nice" on me. I don't know why I didn't swatch Veronica's Blush. I also didn't swatch the Spoiled Rich quad, but I did swatch Caramel Sundae. I think I was standing closer to Betty's side of the display now that I think about it. I'm really tempted by Caramel Sundae. I didn't touch the lipglasses or blushes at all.

I left the store empty handed without anything for myself. I signed up for an event next week, and will check out Boyfriend Stealer then. I may get Boyfriend Stealer and the Caramel Sundae quad if I'm still lemming for it by then.

I'm proud of myself! I'm getting some self-control back. Just don't go over to see what I'm doing in the Nail Polish thread...

Yes... I didnt even know i wanted K&DT . I didn't even swatch it in the store and just ordered it online... because.. I like those black boxes (which is funny because I could have just walked to my pro store and bought it) But its soo pretty. I'm amazed and I'm pretty sure its going to be my go to color... especially after it warms up around here and I can get some color. I'm only getting on strawberry malt... but watch me want another one after I get home. haha... And yes. RR does look a little like LG on me too. It pulls a bit pink on me but still some red so I still like that its a tad different. I feel like we're the same person right now. haha.

Lol! And we actually have the same name!

I'm NC 15 for reference.  I am wearing flatter me pearlmatte and cream soda blush in all pics. Betty items: Girl next door with "stay sweet" L/G on top   Betty bright with "summer sweetheart" L/G over top Kiss and don't tell L/G by itself Veronica: Daddy's Little Girl with nothing over top Boyfriend Stealer with feelin' so good L/G over top (MY FAV!!!)

I took a break at lunchtime and took a run to my local counter. I definitely purchased right - there was nothing else launched that I wanted. The only item that was sold out was Cream Soda. I did like that colour, but I have so many corals that even the MUA thought it would be overkill (I bought Immortal Flower, Launch Away, Fresh Honey and Flower Fantasy). I'm wearing Immortal Flower with Flatter Me today, and I really like the combination. I think FM will look good in the summer with just a touch of bronzer as well.

I loathed Betty Bright. Aside from the extremely non-flattering colour, I see what many of you mean about the application issues. My lips aren't even remotely dry and it looked patchy. The MUA said it's a colour that really needs a gloss over it. I expect more of a $20 lippie than that.

I agree and yet, I just bought it. I hate making a lipstick 'work' but, I decided to move out of my comfort zone and wear something different. A few people seem to think it looks great but, I picked up a liner to go with and I will wear it with pride. And your MUA was right, it looks better with a gloss...Kiss and Don't Tell.

Damn, so sorry. If the tracking info hasn't changed at all you should point that out to MAC and UPS. I really hope that you get your stuff, that really sucks.

I have it from the original release. It's a lovely and unique color. My only problem is that it's rather drying on me.

Other people posted in the thread that they have gotten things that were "sold out" overnighted to them from MAC when they have messed up (they supposedly have some extra stock for mess ups) I hope that will happen for you. What did you order by the way?
