@cocofiere- I love those lippies on you, especially RR! Gorgeous!!

I use MM foundation, though I'm considering switching over to the new mineralize foundation when it comes out if I love it. But based on the shade matching chart MAC came out with, if you're a 7.5 in MM, you're likely NC50 or NC55. (ETA: Based on your avatar pic, I'm guessing you're closer to NC50) At least it gives you a starting point. HTH
Wow, that is like AWESOME ChosenOne! Lol. There is a chart? I'm so behind lol. And my avatar pic is pretty much dead on for my natural skin color even tho it was taken inside.

Thank you SO much! And BTW, do you know if it differs between the foundations? I'll google around for this chart, but I'm just curious. =] It's lovely to know I can help other NC50's now.

There IS a chart!! If you just google mac matchmaster chart, it'll come up. The top of the page should say "Matchmaster Shade Matching Reference." I would still double check your match at a counter, since I don't trust those kinds of charts 100%, but NC50 does look about right for you, IMHO.

Your shade shouldn't really differ between the liquid foundations, but it can vary a bit with the powders, which give you more wiggle room. I can wear a shade darker in Studio Fix Plus Powder than I wear in Studio Fix Fluid or Studio Sculpt. But from liquid foundation to liquid foundation, there shouldn't be much difference.

I use and love matchmaster foundation, im an 7.5 in that. Based on your aviator it looks like you have a yellow undertone, you probably are in the NC range
Oh no way! Yay I found a makeup buddy lol! ChosenOne is telling me there is a chart and I'm NC50 in that haha. I'll prob go try that out as NW does NOT work for me.,

I dont think ill be ordering L.E products from mac.com anymore ill just wait for one of the other stores.

I am so very sorry to hear that! It sucks mightily!

I ordered on day one and my package arrived on time and complete. In fact, i've ordered on-line during the early days of many LE collections (or individual releases such as Yung Rapunxel and Grey Friday) and so far i haven't had any problems. I'm not saying this to rub it in, just that this doesn't seem typical of MAC's performance up to this point.

It sounds, however, like whoever was handling packing and shipping at MAC during this collection had a massive FAIL, since a number of people didn't get their packages. Clearly MAC was having some sort of problem during the release of AG. I hope everyone has complained (politely) so MAC can learn from this.

I am so mad at you, cocofiere, for looking so good in Betty Bright. It is so pasty looking on me. It looked slightly with NYX Toast and then Expresso lip liners for definition. However if I fill my lips in with the liner the lipstick looses its brightness and is pretty boring. Just a basic pale pink. I was hoping for more coral, but it doesn't show up on my lips. Also, it immediately makes my lips patchy and scaly. I think I will give it one more try tonight and then I'm done with it. I don't like makeup that takes "work" to wear.
As promised, my first foray into face/swatch posting...

When Nordies and MAC hopefully restock it I'm picking it up! Thanks HSBlondie! Your a bad influence! LOL!!!

I have rosacea on my cheeks (from mid-eye to nose), chin, and nose. Most of the time i'm fine going out with just eye makeup, lipstick, and a dusting of light face powder (MAC MSF Natural, and now NARS Light Reflecting Setting Powder). But when i want to wear blush i have tone down the redness first.

I use MUFE HD Microperfecting Primer in #1 (green). The trick to using a green primer is practice, practice, practice (as they say), so you learn to use just the right amount - which isn't much. I've read people complaining on makeupalley about how they look, but i suspect many are using too much product and are impatient. I can now cancel the redness without turning green, ghostly, or muddy, and it only adds another minute or so to my makeup routine to put it on my face.

Also, i wear my blush on and a little below my cheek bones, not on the soft "apples" of my cheeks where there's already too much color.

If you're red only on your cheeks, once you get the hang of it it'll take even less time, since you have less to correct. Then you can wear whatever blush you like!

I got a booklet about Archie's Girls in the mail yesterday. Now that nearly everything is sold out. Good thing i got what i wanted when it debuted on mac.com. Are the people at MAC really not clued in to the rabidity of MAC fans?

I am NC45 with dark mauve pigmented lips and I LOVE Betty Bright. It's my fave lipstick of the collection (though I haven't gotten DLG yet, and didn't get GND). I've always loved this peachy corally shade of lipstick but it always looks awful on me. I bought a tube of YSL Rouge Volupte in Peach Passion at one point; beautiful color, but hideous on me. But I took a chance again on BB, and its wonderful. It's more muted on me, a sheer peachy pink that brightens my whole face. I havent experienced the flaking that others have, but i do prep my lips with balm before i apply it. I just adore it and luckily snagged a BU. Hope this helps anyone on the fence about it!

I managed to snag some goodies today. I got Prom Princess blush & Strawberry Malt l/g which I love very much. No go on Ronnie Red & I swear I called every MAC store in NYC. I'll just keep stalking the website for the restock.

WOW I never even gave this thought (i have too many of these dark purple, pinks in all my UD palettes) but this looks amazing!! Are you a professional??
Thanks :) ! I'm certificate makeup artist at Sephora but I don't have any diploma :)

Thanks everyone for the comment about my look :) ! I'm in love with the veronica quad ! I think the colors are really pigmented and it's not hard to blend.

Just Wonderful lipliner with Mall Madness is "pure madness"
kissy.gif
in well intended manner.

I only own 4 lipliners (Vino, Nightmoth, JW & Chestnut) which I rarely use with my glosses however I decided to try out JW and it enhances MM significantly

I am unsure as to how well it will blend with DLG etc (may be posted already) Sorry if I am being a bit redundant and late.....Cartoon Chic, your thoughts pls?

Strawberry Malt
bigheart.gif
is competing extremely hard with Mall Madness. I was afraid SM would be too bright red however it is instead a slightly deep pretty berry-like wine color on me
(if that description may any sense). I also tend to find SM super moisterizing which is a good dual benefit.

I put SM on AFTER I was leaving work and everyone was asking if I am sure I am heading directly home, lol

I have had three persons asking me to pick up a Strawberry Malt Lipgloss for them.............enabling mode high

I broke down and ended up ordering Strawberry Malt. (My first purchase from this collection and my first lipglass) It was just too gorgeous to pass up. Now debating if I want to wait for a restock of DLG, RR & BB...I have more than enough pinks and reds, plus I bought Kate Moss 110, which is what BB would look like on me with manipulation, so I'm thinking I'm gonna pass and just wait for April.
