I picked up Veronica's Blush Pearlmatte last Saturday and finally tried it out Wednesday evening. I love the silvery pink base. It's a great finishing color on me, sheer, not too shiny, just a lovely natural looking glow.

But darn those blue-red hearts! They actually gave off quite a bit of color contrary to some reviews i read, and which i did not want. Maybe it doesn't show much on some people, but i'm 15-20 neutral and the color was plenty strong on me. And i had actually tried not to get any on my brush.

Now i'm thinking of digging them out and throwing them away... probably won't do it, don't want to wreck the compact, but i'm sure thinking about it.

Haha, yup - Cosmetic prices here are pretty ridiculous. I suspect the reason is that 98% of the cosmetics available here are from either the Loreal group or the Estee Lauder, which means they can hold us in a price duopoly. Just means if a MAC collection comes out, I stalk online for swatches before buying anything!

I called them today and they said they are going to get stock tommorow

*sigh* Northridge sold out of everything so fast. I called for BB and DLG and they were sold out. I even called around for a RR so I could wear it with Strawberry Malt and nothing. I'm just going to have to accept that I can't get it. Doubt there will be a restock since there already was a huge one.

I got my lipsticks in yesterday!
I haven't tried Ronnie Red out yet.
But I put on Girl Next Door and I love it! It's such a pretty pink. The funny part is, when I opened it, it looked familiar. Then I looked at my blush I got from GlamourDaze and it perfectly matches it. I got "I'm the One" from that collection and they look really close to each other.

I originally thought Girl Next Door was a close match to Beauty, but they're nothing a like in the tube. Beauty is much much more nude toned. So I'm glad I got GND because it's completely different.

Now I really need to not buy any more lipsticks since I don't even consider myself a "lipstick" person and I have a million of them. Oops.

Came home from work today and there was a lovely package from MAC waiting for me!!
I completed my haul with cream soda blush and summer sweetheart lip gloss, which I didn't expect to be anything special at all, but these 2 products ended up being my favourite from the collection. I'm so glad I got them, as I was going to stick to just 2 lipsticks I got at first.

Cream soda is just a perfect peach blush for me

In the pic below I'm wearing cream soda and summer sweetheart lip gloss. Cream soda is quite light. It looks even lighter here because of the flash, but in real life it's perfect.

Hmm idk if it's cuz I looked like crap to begin w or because I didn't try it w anything else like a liner but I did not like how boyfriend stealer looked on me it just got here yesterday which I'm glad I got on the Mac site because I almost bought from eBay. :shock:
