I want a new bag too! I was good and reused my winter one from last year. That's my excuse to get a new Spring/Summer bag.

I'm on Team ICAATS as well! >___< I really wanted the Pearlmattes from Baking Beauties but I'll have to see how much damage on the 11th is done with this one. (It will probably go live on the 8th or 9th online.)

Me too, I've been reusing for three seasons now and I really love this bag. I will still be getting a small haul from nudes and metallics but skipping FS, HW and BB. Should have MAC cash again for temperature rising.

Isn't it your birthday very soon? Or you must have graduated on something? You ( i don't hope so) have been through a tragedy and you need to comfort yourself with a new bag and some mac stuff to put into your new bag? You have found your mothers wallet she was looking for everywhere and now she gives you finders fee? I think you deserve a salary raise!

Luckily normal size but still!
Yeah I do agree. I wonder if MAC is ever going to go up like Chanel. With all these regular price increases they soon will be just as expensive like Chanel. I wonder if we will still keep buying if MAC asks 40 euro's for an eyeshadow.
Well I certainly won't. I rarely buy MAC eyeshadows, for eyeshadows I have Inglot. :amused: I only have *counts* 16 MAC eyeshadows (9 normal es, 4 mes, 1 large edes, 1 small 1 edes, 1 eces) and a couple of small palettes and I'm getting rid of some of some eyeshadow(palettes).

Well I do like Inglot eyeshadows unfortunately their shop is on the other side of Amsterdam. And I like to try them in person. I heard their pigments are very nice too! And reasonably priced! I actually have one small quad of MAC. Unfortunately most limited quads are so so pigmented according to Temptalia. So that's why I almost never buy them. I do have a couple of normal eyeshadows of mac and I must say I especially like to ones with more than one colour I believe they call them duo chrome? But I'll skip the EDES for now!

I love Inglot eyeshadows, I'm getting rid of most of my other shadows/palettes from other brands because I don't use them anyway and so I can get more palettes (and I already have 11 10-palettes ). I takes me about 1,5 hour to get to the flagship store (and 1,5 hour back lol) but it's totally worth it! But I haven't been there in about a year because of the price hike (and my MAC addiction lol). I've bought all my palettes when it was €60 for a 10-palette and now it's €76 blegh so I'm waiting for a discount, I always seem to miss the Inglot discounts! ETA: IMO the pigments are expensive, you only get a small yar and it's like what €16? They are very pretty though. :nods:

I have one pigment in #70 from Inglot and I swatched a couple others. I like the pigment texture of the shimmer pigments a lot more than the eyeshadows. Although the matte pigments are not as nice. The pigment I have is the prettiest turquoise! I like to use it over a gel liner by Inglot in #87 which is also a turquoise. It makes the pigments stick very well and the combination is just turquoise heaven

I think it's the normal size, same as the first release.
My issues is a gorgeous new bag I found and want. MAC or new bag?

new bag!!
i want some Tiffany's sunglasses and I told myself that's too much $$ ($330) but then when I add up everything from BB, ED, FS and N&M I will be spending that much on makeup! Granted I get alot more items but I'm jonesing for sum new shades I haven't bought any since 2011 ( heaven forbid lol)! I think after April I will try n save so I can get them by my birthday (June. 6)

Oh my gosh you make me laugh.

It actually isn't my birthday until May --- Temperature Rising time. And I will definitely talk to my DH about the raise considering stay at home mom's are underpaid.

Is that the gel eyeliner that looks similar to Siahi...when that one goes (it is almost dried out) I was going to get this. How do they compare to fluidlines?

That's gorgeous! I was going to skip these blushes to get some tarte blushes (because of the lasting power), but this is so nice now I don't know. Does anyone know if these are longer wearing than the regular blushes. Blush is the first thing to wear off on me.
It's a 10hr wear.

I'm about to go  on inglot. I'm gonna forego mac shadows and start buying inglot instead!

I need to join you on team ICAATS!
OMG! ICAATS!
Neko_animated.gif

I added up all my wish lists for April and it was waaaay over $500. There is NO WAY i can afford that. And even if i could, there's no way i'd spend that much on makeup in one month. Generally when i'm really into a MAC collection i try not to spend over $150 in one month and i generally keep it down around $100. But FOUR collections in one month all with stuff i love... it's killing me!

This is why i NEED SWATCHES! So i can triage my shopping lists! And save the life of my wallet!

My Extra Dimension list.
But no way i can afford it all. I have to cut it in half it somehow. SWATCHES! I NEED SWATCHES!

ED Skinfinishes
Double Definition - Soft shimmery gold / Patina bronze
Shape The Future - Pastel pink with iridescence / Soft brick with shimmer
Definitely Defined - Silvery pink / Soft rose with shimmer

I really DO NOT want all three, but i need swatches to decide which one. (big sigh) Most likely i'll just get Definitely Defined. But the others sound wonderful, too, and i recently got a silver pink Pearlmatte. So maybe i should get Double Definition instead. But Shape The Future sounds irresistible with pastel pink with iridescence... Help!

ED Eyeshadows
Zestful - Pale iridescent lime
Opalesse - Opalescent white with pink pearlized pigments
Triple Impact - Opalescent lavender with violet pearlized pigment
Smoky Mauve - Mid-tone mauve

I may just go for Opalesse and Triple Impact... but... but... the others sound so pretty... (blubber, blubber, blubber)

Bareness ED Blush - Rosy beige pink
I know Fiery Impact and Blazing Heat won't work on me, and i'm pretty sure At Dusk will be too dark and Flaming Chic too bright. Whew, one category where i'm sure i want only one...

128 Split Fibre Cheek Brush
235 Split Fibre All Over Eye Brush
I can't afford both - and i can't figure out which one is better - or maybe i don't need either one. Au secours! I'm sinking...

I need swatches... (wimper, wimper, wimper)

I bought a purple bag a year or two ago, but it ended up being cheaply made and began disassembling itself after about 3 uses. That one looks GOOD! Oooo, i want one too! I haven't gotten a new bag i could really use in about 10 years. Maybe i should go troll Zappos...

I'm trying to decide b/w 3-4 Spring purses and none of them are reasonably priced. These two are my main contenders, but there's at least one more in this same pattern that creeps into my consciousness.

I wish there weren't so many April collections b/c I need a wallet as well. I'm gonna take it easier on this ED collection, but I added up my Fashion Sets list and it was $180 w/o backups.

Anyway, I would say a bag over makeup. Especially if it's a pricey bag you have to save up for. Something about carrying a nice purse makes you feel really good. Especially if you worked hard and used discipline to get there.
