MAC Fashion Sets 2013 Collection (April 2013)

Stalk team can finally sleep. I cannot say I am surprised that Heroine lipstick and gloss sold out and I am predicting there will be tons on evil bay at inflated prices of course. I am of course wishing and hoping for a restock. Is anybody getting the eyeshadows? Do we still think they will be dry as mummy dust? The only way I got Heroine lippy the first time was buying it unseen and it seems with all the evilbay competition we are going to have to do that more and more to be sure not to miss out. This pattern of surprise launching and lack of swatches really has me frustrated.

That's what I figured too. If there's anything that I decide I really want, I'll just have to get up and haul my butt to the store on release morning.

I want to get Ablaze eyeshadow, but I'm also wary of it being a PitA to work with...especially with my limited skills, lol. I think I'll check it out on launch day next week since I have to return a lip pencil to my local counter anyway.

I was more surprised by the fact that Heroine l/p sold out before the lipstick! Then again, as others have speculated, they probably had limited stock based on the fact that it did sell out on Pro first as well.

Thanks ladies, another haul in the books My husband thinks this is just hilarious I had asked him to wake me up at 12am, he fell asleep! Wouldn't it have been lovely if they made the matte ones out of the matte2 formula?

I woke up literally 2 minutes beforehand, grabbed my phone, and checked the thread. By the time I refreshed once, it had exploded and I scrambled to get to my laptop...almost fell out of the damn bed, lol.

I got in my order for Heroine l/s and Ablaze l/s early this morning since I had to come to work at 5:30 lol, but I'm really curious about the shadows. I've been in the market for a good pink eyeshadow forever!! I wonder why they haven't been released yet

I woke up literally 2 minutes beforehand, grabbed my phone, and checked the thread. By the time I refreshed once, it had exploded and I scrambled to get to my laptop...almost fell out of the damn bed, lol.

But wait a minute, you came HERE before going to the MAC site? MAC was the first site I pulled up on my laptop while still having crust in my eyes.

Exactly! I mean are they that much harder to make than lipstick?? I hope they'll be out by the time the collection comes to the store at least.

In hindsight, it's pretty cold blooded of MAC to release such a highly anticipated collection basically in the middle of the night like that. They have got to come up with a better and consistent system for releasing collections. Doesn't seem like any of their strategies are in the interest of the customers.

I woke up and first thing I did this morning was make lemon honey tea, my throat is killing me! Then I remembered the collection and hussled to the laptop to check the site. My husband only heard me cursing, he thought I hurt myself, but no... Heroine was gone. But at least I got EM and Ablaze to play with, hopefully a restock is on its way soon.

No, I checked here on my phone. I had this thread open in Safari on my iPhone, because the MAC mobile site craps out on me on a regular basis. I already had the actual (MAC) site open in a window on my laptop, I just had to stumble over to get to it after I realized everything was up.

And thanks! Hopefully there are plentiful restocks so everyone can get what they were after.
