You can get away without the lipliner indeed because it's a light colour, but I do prefer it with lipliner. It helps the lipstick stay on longer and nicer, it prevents getting a circle in the middle of your mouth without any product on it. I always hate it when I get that circle. If you only have money for the lipstick though it's definitely worth it! I don't have any dupes. Viva Glam Nicki is similar in darkness/lightness, but has different undertones, so it's a completely different colour on me. This is the blue-based version of Nicki, without it being too blue-based.

I got a couple of items through a cp and those arrived already. Here I'm wearing Silly lipliner and lipstick. It's a bit brighter IRL, but it's the perfect barbie pink! I'm in love with this colour and I have no problems with the texture. I also got Heroine lipliner (x3) and I'm really happy with it. Magenta is a lot pinker on me and it never was that great of a match to Heroine or Strong Woman, but Heroine lipliner is! The last thing that was in my cp was a Heroine lipstick, because I wanted another BU.
I'm crossing my fingers! Every MAC store around me seems to be sold out of this collection, except for the eyeshadow of course.
