Exactly! Having the liners perm would be so much better.

I don't really care if both the liners and the lipsticks become perm, one or the other would be nice. If it's just the liners, i'll just swatch it, mix with lip balm and water, then apply and I wouldn't even know the difference.

Wow, finally got my goodies and had a chance to play. Ablaze is gorgeous, it will get tons of wear, too bad I didn't back it up. Well, I can hope it gets made perm. My adoration is only exceeded by my love for Heroine. Its gorgeous, so thanking my luck that I got a BU of it, based on all the hype here. I finally found a purple lippy I like better than Bloomin Lovely. Perfect staining ability too. I am wearing Silly today, and you ladies were not lying about how dessicating it is on the lips. I used Prep and Prime too but I can feeling the moisture getting sucked right out. I love the color, but I will have to use a balm over this or I can't stand the mummy lips feeling. I paired Silly e/s with Top Hat in the outter corner, Scene over the lid, and Banshee in the brow zone. Used Mothbrown to sort of mutify everything then Silly blended up from the crease in the "transition zone." This was lovely, I think I am going to get a LOT of use out of Silly e/s. It applies and blends like a dream, it is the pink e/s I have been searching for. I haven't tried Heroine e/s yet, wondering what to pair with it.

Hmm no, but since the lipsticks were already perm it makes more sense to me somehow. Normally if items get added to the perm line it's visible in the update book and so far I haven't heard anybody about that.

I think the reason everyone is so curious about this collection becoming permanent is because these 4 colours would truly make a fantastic addition to the permanent line up!!
I think there is nothing like any of these shades in the permanent sections, Silly is one of the most unique pinks I've have ever seen, Ablaze is a beautiful coral apricot which again, doesn't dupe any permanent lipsticks, Embrace Me is a stunning deep blue pink which IMO truly suites all skin tones! (The only "Dupes" for this to me do not match up because this is a rock star colour!!) And of course Herione which is THE purple for the majority of Mac lipstick fiends!!
I think Mac would be crazy to not make the liners and also lipsticks from this collection regulars because they are timeless shades to me and I can see these selling like hot cakes even when permanent!!
I agree, I have back ups and it would be a little bit "Urgh, If I'd have known" etc etc... But then I'd also be relieved and wouldn't be so sparing with my lippies because I'd know I can always pop out and get another!!

They actually had Ablaze and Embrace me l/s at my CCO! i wish i saw this before i would of bought an extra one. i think i may have one but im not for sure. will check. but i believe that "CartoonChic" also has some Fashion Sets lipsticks for sale, not for sure if Ablaze was oneI've never loved a lipstick as much as ablaze. We do you just have to have a membership. I dunno if in the UK they'd have Mac though Selfridges still has ablaze but there's a steep £5 shipping. Is ablaze lip liner at all close to the lipstick?

Yes the lipliner is the same as the lipstick.

You could just apply it to one lip or just use a lip brush. Adding gloss could help too.
