Ok, so I tried on RiRi again today and I love it a whole lot more now. Yesterday I was so busy prepping my lips that I probably had too much lip balm / p+p lips left on my lips which took away a bit of that ultimate matteness that I adore. While I was playing around with my Masat al Lail quad I decided to try it on again, this time unprepared, so on bare lips. There it was with its fine self, being nice and matte. le sigh... It hasn't beaten Ruby but boy it sure is close... BU city

I noticed that, too. I was going to ask you about that. I haven't really noticed an orange tone on anyone else.

This thread seems to have the most pretty pictures ever. Well done, RiRi.

Wearing this lipstick does make me feel better though. The formula is so nice and I love the retromatte look. I'm not sure if it would show up in pictures, but Ruby Woo is less blue and deep. Now that I've tried RRW a second time I think I prefer it to RW. It might be the ultimate red for me and I'll definitely buy BUs.

This is why I didn't buy it yet - I can't buy a red lipstick without seeing it in person because my skin tone is too picky and the wrong red ages me into a horrible crone. The right red is instant

, though. Runaway Red is my #1 red love, followed by Absolute Power and Scarlet Ibis. Some reds people love, like Heartless or Red Racer, are just terrrrrrrrible on me and others lean strongly pink on me more often than not, like Ronnie Red or Love Goddess.

Very pretty. You look a little like Jill Marie Jones (Toni from the show Girlfriends) in this pic.

RiRi Woo looks great on EVERYONE! I haven't seen it not look good on anyone yet.
