So what's the deal with MES? Are they generally good products? I notice T didn't rate previous ones very high.

I think it depends on how much you are willing to work with them. I have older ones (from around '09, holiday maybe?) that are perfect when used dry and have perfect pigmentation. Lately, I have found that they haven't been all too great. I have to use the newer ones (last one I bought was from Apres Chic) with Fix+ for the pigment to show up on the eye and I usually use a paint pot underneath. The ones that seem to have the most trouble are the ones with glitter. I'm hoping these are smooth without any glitter. Personally, they are not something that I have to have.

I don't think I've owned a mes except extra dimension and I only used them once and sold so guess I don't like them

Not sure about Rio yet.It might be too dark and bronzy. In the promo pic it looks like the bronzy color dominates over
the quite pale pink color.Have to see swatches....

thank you for your response :) I'm one of those lazy people that don't want to take those extra steps to make something work. Pass for me, thanks once again!

T never rates them high because they do not perform well on her. Not everyone likes them-sort of like pigments but for many they work great.
I used to like MES until EDES came... that's when I quit buying MES. Not the same thing but I just prefer EDES. I still use the (12) MES I have though (but not as much).

I'm thankful to say I'm underwhelmed by this collection. Please everyone buy it so I don't get curious and end up buying any of it!!!

I wanna see swatches, looks soo promising!
I hope it will be a finely milled MSF, just like my beloved Redhead or even the more finely milled Perfect Topping, which is my all time fave MSF.
Based on your comments I will buy a duo fiber brush to use with them. ;)
