I LOVE the name of Sushi Kiss! The main reason I want it haha. When a collection goes live online, what time is that usually?
It varies. Sometimes its early morning and sometimes its in the evening. Mac turns people into cyber stalkers

I am new to MAC online stalking, and I have done online stalking for other companies and products that have a quick go time but it can be overwhelming if you are new to the concept. I recommend trying to get what you can online and being prepared to try to get the rest at a store if you can. I am lucky that right now I live in a place where the girls at the MAC counter know me well and one in particular will hold things until my lunch hour is over so I can run over and get it, but I am also lucky in that I don't live in a place where people are forming lines to get to the lipstick, either, so there's that. I hope you get what you want! <3

Thanks girl! Yeah, I believe I can wait it out online that day, and hopefully stalk Macys/Nordstrom's sites a few days later if that doesn't work. My last resort would be to go to the store, bc I have no idea how the lines would be, and it's almost an hour away. Not impossible, just not the best idea haha. MAC employees don't typically hold items for you, do they? I would think not- I've also heard horror stories about MAC employees buying all the products before the store opens. I hope those weren't true.

Mine is a MAC inside a Macy's and I don't know their official policy on holding items but I doubt they are really supposed to. I have never asked the employee who has done it for me to do it, but I am in there everyday and she has offered when a collection is about to drop because she knows I shoot over on my lunch break. I think the type of employee you deal with depends on the location, like with anywhere. The MAC I go to has studio artists who really love MAC and want everyone else to love it too. Overall, I have had really good experience at the MAC locations I have been to, as opposed to some other makeup retailers and counters, and the people who are unhappy always scream the loudest is something I always remind myself.
