LOL got back from the grocery store and now Flamingo and Sushi Kiss are sold out. Oddly enough I don't feel bad. I got instead Tarte and Trendy and Tangerine Dream +Velvet Teddy and Honey Love and I'm happy!

Yep it's for credit or debit cardholders. It's how we get our MAC at a discount. I have an awesome SA at Nordstrom that makes sure to get everything I ask for on launch days no matter what. For Marilyn she came in on her day off just to get my lippies. I've never met her b/c she's out of state, but she is awesome. Anyone need her name please let me know.

I think Flamingo was much anticipated. It was the last of the Iris lipsticks to be repromoted. I'm not surprised it sold out so quick!

i had IF from last year and did NOT like it at alllllll. ugh!! it was too light on me

I have IF and it is light however when I layered it; It worked just find for me and added the right amount of color to my cheeks

Flamingo is gone on the Canadian site too. You're right--usually we have a fair amount of time right after the collection goes up, although things might be sold out by the next morning.

Managed to get the stuff I wanted

some things sold out at lightning speed! Temptalia announced on Twitter/Facebook that the collection went live right at the time we all went into a frenzy, so I'm sure that had something to do with it!

My haul:

Sushi Kiss
Tangerine Dream (iffy about this, but thought what the hell, it's a lustre, maybe it won't be so bad)
Tarte & Trendy
Flamingo x 3 (this is my HG coral shade, I had to stock up on some fresh babies)
Sweet & Sour x 2
Royal Sunset x 2

Nope. I know you guys are upset that stuff is sold out, but remember, tomorrow you can call the 800#, and early next week there's macys and nordies online (amongst the other dept store sites), and all the mac counters and stores next week. Mac's site isn't your only option.

I'd have gotten sweet n sour when it was very much available but the milkiness on some of the swatches makes me hesitant to get it. I can't wear betty bright now that I'm a darker nc 35. it looks washed out and not very flattering at all. so I opted for the brighter ones (TnT and TD).
