MAC All About Orange Collection (June 2013)

Nordies seems too random with their timing I feel...I feel that when they put their stuff up...it will be gone. Has anyone noticed when they put their MAC collections up? God I hope mac restocks their lipsticks...

does anyone who owns both Fresh Salmon and Flamingo feel that they are similar in any way? I own FS and i love it but never could get a hold of Flamingo...it's kind of hard to tell from simply looking at swatches online. TIA!

I owned Fresh Salmon at some point and tried on Flamingo when it first came out... two completely different things! Flamingo's a lot lighter, brighter and slightly milky on me (NC30) whereas Fresh Salmon was a good orange-coral with a slightly gold sheen and applied more juicy on the lips. Fresh Salmon also brightened up my complexion. Needless to say I didn't purchase Flamingo (although it looks soooo pretty), and Fresh Salmon I liked a lot... until Made to Order came out which I liked even more.

I would also keep an eye on the MAC site. I'm certain there will be a restock at some point. The restocks often happened in the the midst of the day (though there is no guarantee).

I hope I don't regret not getting S&S. I just had a bad feeling it would be too pale on my already pale skin. Guess I will have to see it in the store.


**Edit after seeing Temptalia's swatches, I felt that S&S washed her out, so I really think it would make me look sick!

Awe hell! I was at stupid work, missed out on the lippies I wanted! And I had a guy bail on his check so I had to pay for it. So I lost $20 tonight and made nothing. This day sucks!

WTF, you have to pay for someone who skipped out on their check? I presume you work as a server. Is this standard practice where you live? That's bullsh*t..... how is this your fault?

Arg!!! I wake up and the collection hasn't even launch but on the site but the lipsticks I wanted are sold our already when I search for the names on the .ca site. >_< What kind of crazy is this!!! I guess this is another collection I'll be missing out on. >_<

BTW when did the shades show up on the site? I stop checking 9 hour ago because you know, like normal people, I need to sleep before work.

Oh well I'll give my money to someone else!

LOL! I know. I'm so tempted to order something now.

Be strong CC, be strong. Think double points! I'm going to B2M for 4 lippies and get anything else that I want via Nordies for double points. Torn about the palette because I already have Typographic, but it would make a nice overnight or long travel weekend (convenient) eye palette.
