Took a few quick lip pics with these on. Sorry but I'm still feeling a little under the weather so I didn't bother with full face shots or taking out my camera. Just used my iPhone lol. It's cloudy today so I couldn't seem to get good lighting anywhere!

How do u feel about razzledazzler? From ur swatches im scared about sweet and sour now. It might be too light for my liking but im glad i ordered tangerine dream. Oh and how do u watermark ur photos if u dont mind me asking

My local MAC phoned to let me know they just got this collection yesterday, so i could come down and test. So i went down around opening time today to test. I already ordered Immortal Flower and Royal Sunset the morning of the on-line release - i ordered 2-day shipping so the package should arrive Mon.

But the one lipstick i was certain i wanted, Flamingo, was already sold out on-line. And i wanted to test Razzledazzler and Sweet & Sour. I don't wear oranges much - only if they're pinky. Otherwise oranges just don't work on my split personality skin colors.

So this AM i tested Rd, S&S, and Fl on my lips, after using a cosmetic cleaner on them first. S&S was just too opaque and insistently orange on me, as i suspected, since it's a cremesheen. I was really most interested in comparing Rd and Fl, since both are lustres, and are a bit sheer and more wearable to me. I put Fl on the left side of my lips and Rd on the right. They are close enough in color that i don't need both. Fl was cooler, pinker, so that's the only one i want to get.

I'll be sitting outside MAC's door with a hot coffee Thursday AM - they often only get 3 (+ a tester) of LE items, so i can't delay.

While prepping my face to go down there i realized i have no orange-y / coral-y blushes that don't have gold flecks or lots of shimmer, so IF will fill a gap in my blush collection.

Well...after googling tangerine dream on nc50 skin, I have now learned that tangerine dream is not only a type of marijuana, but also a flavor included in the raunchy beverage, mad dog 2020. Way to go MAC, with the subtle references versus orgasm or g spot etc. You can't pay me to believe someone at MAC didnt at least know about the marijuana reference...lol

So like many of you, I missed out on SK Wednesday night/Thursday morning. I had SK in my cart and MAC removed it as I was checking out. I was bummed, but figured maybe I'd get it when it went online at the department stores.
Today I went to the counter in Nordstrom to do a B2M. I didn't even bother asking if they had SK in, since the collection wouldn't be out until later this week. I looked at the permanent lipsticks and settled on Sunny Seoul. The SA grabbed the lipstick out of a drawer, took my empties and marked the bottom of the lipstick and told me I couldn't return it, yada yada yada. After I had left, I looked at the lipstick... It's Sushi Kiss!!!!!!!!!! She gave me Sushi Kiss!!! I don't know if it was an accident, or on purpose but how the heck did this happen!?? I am so excited!

Has something similar ever happened to you?

First time posting and hoping I don't mess up. Found this by searching for swatches on the collection. I was in Macy's in Philly and the collection is out !!! All the lipsticks are available, but the blushes are sold out Figured it might help someone out, tart and trendy is gorgeous ! Check Macy's!

I actually like Razzledazzler. The fact that it's a Lustre and applies more on the sheer side makes it easy to work with in my opinion. I know I can tweak it easily with a chocolate or a pink liner (or honestly any color) if I feel like it's too light on a certain day but I feel comfortable wearing it alone also. Sweet & Sour because it's a cremesheen might be the one I like the least...it's not awful but it's a little on the lighter side for me...so I'm much more likely to pair it with a lip liner to try and tweak it a bit.

As far as watermarking my photos...I usually do it using an old Microsoft Digital Image program I have on my computer since it's easy to make it transparent to go across my pics (the ones I use for my blog) but otherwise I'll use the InstaFrame App to add my text.

I think Razzledazzler has a way of creeping in on you. I received it as a gift from my sister and hated it. I returned it soon after. But, then I saw it in a CCO and picked it up. I don't reach for it often.

I got Flamingo and Sushi kiss.
After application, (sorry they are so sloppy! i got excited! lol) I was most pleased with Flamingo. Very wearable, buildable pinky orange.



However, Sushi kiss is a straight up milky orange color. If applied to heavy, it's just a no go for me.
I had to use the slightest hand! I don't love it but applied lightly it's ok






Now, I'm really interested in T&T and TD! Does nordies take long with regular shipping?
Or should i just wait to check them out on thursday? I was going to look at HJ in store anyway...thoughts?

Trying to resist the blushes! I already have IF, and I think I have more than enough peach/orange and pink blushes, so I don't feel like I really need HJ or RS. Here's hoping I won't have skipper's remorse.

On the other hand, I wanted to add T&T, but Saigon Summer seems very close? Can anyone confirm? (I don't have Saigon Summer, but it's on my list to get later.) Please tell me I don't need T&T!

I have Saigon Summer, but still ordered T & T. Can't compare one to the other at this point, but like SS, T&T is the kind of lip color to which I gravitate.
In that regard, I hope they're a tad close.
