it definitely depends on the brand. I've never had a busted underwire poking through split seam or messed up hooks, etc. with Wacoal - pretty much the only brand I don't have that problem with. The other factor is making sure you've got the right fit - if you don't have the right cup size or chest measurement, you can run into issues like that too. Lastly, I never throw my bras in the washing machine - hand wash only - every night before I go to bed. 'Keeps even the really fragile, lacy ones looking like new.OK, i know this is OT, but... I wear bras with underwires to help keep the girls looking up (my first bra was a 32 C and now i'm older and bigger). I don't wear the same bra every day, but even so, after maybe 2 months or so of wearing a bra, a ferking underwire breaks (ouch! they are sharp!) or an end begins poking through the channel. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? It's driving me bananaswhen a very pretty and comfy bra becomes unwearable.

Yeah at one time I had no idea what it was. I asked for a PM and someone was kind enough to PM me. I hadn't seen the name before that but it seemed like in the weeks afterwards, I then started to see the name. No real need for you to apologize though. You just asked the question.

So something weird happened to my aao order from Nordstrom it shipped on 6/3 and the money got taken out and got the order confirmation,tracking number and everything but today the money got put back on my card. has this ever happened to anyone before like why would they put the money back if it already shipped?im so worried I'm not going to get my lippies now

Hmmmm...either you got a great freebie or maybe your order was canceled? They will still send you the samples you picked (if you did) even if an order was canceled but you would have been notified. Or wait...it's possible that the temporary hold was released and the actual charge will show back up on your card. That happens sometimes too. Look at your order status on the Nordies website. It will show what items shipped. If your lippies are all listed as shipped then you're getting them.

They most certainly shipped. called nordstrom they said its not cancelled and its at a sorting facility near me and the money got taken out on 6/3.the lady I spoke to had no idea it ever even got put back on today like what my bank had told me.i just don't want nordstrom to keep playing games taking out,putting it back on etc.

The lipsticks look so pretty on all of you girls! I just called my mac store and I got them to hold sushi kiss for me. I needed to guarantee that I could get it because its the most popular of the collection. I've never held products before, when I go claim it, do I just go up to the counter, tell them the info I left for them and get it? Sorry, I'm new

MAC online does this, too. Most of the time the company does the initial processing to make sure the account is active and/or has the sufficient funds. Then it disappears from the account for a day or two, then pops back on there as being a fully processed amount.

They've done that to me before and ended up just charging me again later. Weird. I would def call them and check though.

Usually what you may have seen disappear was the initial temporary hold amount. That will often drop off and the company has up to 30 days to submit the final charge. Sometimes you don't see the drop off happen because they will submit the final charge before the temporary expires (if that makes sense). It also usually happens with debit cards versus credit cards
